All I wanted to do is get everyone something for Christmas. I am on disability with a fixed income. On the email that was initially sent there was no mention of a fee (I have a copy).
This fee generated 18 insufficient fund instances at $35.00 each. That would be $650.00. Lets not forget the initial charge of 99.95, that caused all the problems, for a grand total of $ 749.95
Now, if I dont come up with the rent of $1120.00 by December 3, my family and I will be evicted.
I dont understand how they got into my checking account in the first place. Isnt there some legal issues involved here?
It said the my use of the account constitutes my acceptance of this charge account in accordance with the terms of this Agreement. I never used this account. I called the company and the person said I only had 7 days to cancell. It says on the website " you must notify us in writing". There are contradictions everywhere, I have copies of the email, terms and conditions, and a few other sources but nowhere does it say there is a fee of $99.95.

Like I said before, the Terms and Conditions I downloaded and have a copy of says nothing about a fee.
The fee was returned to me and my bank refunded all the insufficient fund charges.
I realize how they got my bank card info, I just thought it was to pay for stuff you ordered.
Thank you for your help

I am sure the email either gave a link to their main website where you clicked Join Now, or directly to the Join Now page.
You said " I dont understand how they got into my checking account in the first place."
I clicked the join now button and entered a fake name, address etc. I clicked submit and the next screen asked for my banks routing and account numbers. That is how they have your account number, you had to enter that to go on to the next screen.
On the join now page is a very important thing called Terms & Conditions. When applying for the credit you would have had to click a box that says you read the Terms & Conditions.
In the Terms & Conditions it clearly says One Time Enrollment Fee: $99.
It also says
"Enrollment Fee Refund Policy: IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!
When you enroll, you are immediately sent an email confirming your enrollment and
re-stating the fact that there will be a debit for the enrollment fee to your bank account using the information that you submitted and authorized. You have a 7 DAY FREE TRIAL PERIOD from the time that you submit your enrollment, during that time you may contact member services and cancel the enrollment as well as the debit before it is transmitted to the bank. Due to this fact, as well as the fact that the enrollment fee debit is automated and after the 7 day free trial period, the debit cannot be stopped, there will be no refund of any portion of the enrollment fee.
