Signed up 2 1/2 years ago for debt settlement paid over $12,309 in fees. The account was set up by National using Global Client Solutions (located in OK) and Rocky Mountain Bank (located in CO). After paying the $12,309 to National, debited from the GCS and RMB account, they stopped calling and returning any of my calls. After amassing over $19,000 in the account, no debts were settled.

The original estimate also included a creditor for which I had to hire an attorney to solve. That debt has been settled without any help from National. The individual who runs National Settlements, refuses to return any phone calls, e-mails, or written correspondence. Now, I'm out of $12,309 without having ANY debts settled. the company will not return any communications.

I've already reported National to the Better Business Bureau but they were non-responsive. The company is located in Houston, TX, the debt settlement division is run solely by Charles McGuire and I reside in NY. I left the program six months before it was officially to end to settle these accounts before I get sued AGAIN!

National Settlements part of Leon "Randy" Sinclair group

AUTHOR: Cowboy Justice - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, May 02, 2009

National Settlements is part of a group of companies that operate out of the same office in Houston, TX such as National Esate Planning, National Group Services, National Tax Solutions, Golden Legacy, College Ball or Bust, and other entities. Leon R. "Randy" Sinclair is the man who directs these companies. You can find Sinclair's name on the National Group Services company report at www.Manta.com. He is a high powered insurance agency owner who sells big dollar annuities. I don't know who the McGuire guy is, but he is likely just a salesman.

Good Luck on the refund! Almost all of the debt settlement firms out there are misleading consumers big time. Unless you live in a debtor friendly state like Florida or Texas, your creditors can garnish wages with a judgement. There are no "secret programs" to cut your debt that these companies have access too but you don't. You can settle debt yourself or hire an attorney who works in this area. These outfits just hire salesman and have some guy in the back room calling creditors who may not even be college educated. Due to the rotten economy, these companies are popping up on radio all over to make $$$ off of other people's misfortune.

Complaints filed against National Settlements, Global Client Solutions & Rocky Mountain Bank

AUTHOR: NY - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, December 14, 2008

The title says it all; I have filed complaints against National Settlements (aka National Estate Planning and National Tax Solutions), Global Client Solutions, and Rocky Mountain Bank with the following agencies on 12/13/08:

Federal Trade Commission: I filed a report online with their Consumer Protection division.

Better Business Bureau: I reported both Global Client Solutions and Rocky Mountain Bank. I had reported National in June of '08.

Internet Crime Complaint Center (IAC): I filed another report online. This organization supposedly works in conjuction with the FBI.

FDIC: I reported Rocky Mountain Bank. Being that my money was in an FDIC insured bank, and the bank will not address my claims of fraud against my account, I thought this fitting.

More complaints to come:

Next on the agenda is notifying the Attorney Generals of TX (National Settlements), OK (Global Client Solutions), CO (Rocky Mountain Bank), and NY as well as the respective senators of those states; and the FBI.

And after that the search for a good lawyer.

National Settlements, Global Client Solutions ,and Rock Mountain Bank SCAM

AUTHOR: NY - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 13, 2008

On 12/08/08 I faxed a copy of the Rip-off report to National Settlements and after a week, have still heard no response.

On 12/11/08 I called Global Client Solutions. I requested that my account be notated that National Settlements (aka National Estate Planning) has committed fraud, and has stolen 12,309 from me. She indignantly questioned my claim, and responded that they were only the paying agent and had no responsibility in the matter.

I told her I needed the account notated because I was now obligated to call the Attorney General as well as the FBI (multi-state scam factor), she said that they had no process in place for a situation like this and that she would call the settlement company for me, I told her to go ahead and get National Settlements on the phone, that I would loved to talk to them.

After a minute, she returned on the phone and said she could not reach anyone and could only leave a message. I replied, I'm not surprised. She then questioned the manner in which I contact National Settlements, to which I replied, I call them, a secretary answers, she pretends to get Charles McGuire on the phone and after a few seconds she responds, he's unavailable or he just stepped out or he's not in today. would you like to leave a message. I told her that I always leave a message. She asked how long this was going on and I told her, 8 months.

I asked about filing a complaint with Rocky Mountain Bank, she responded that they would only refer you to Global Clients Solutions. So, if I have this correct, the FDIC insured bank will not take responsibility that your money is stolen, will not even investigate the claim but they'll refer you to the paying agent who will also not take responsibility in helping you recover your money. So, National Settlements, or any debt settlement company for that matter, can hide behind Global Client Solutions and Rocky Mountain Bank, who are able to claim that they are not responsible. Sounds like a major scam.

So as a result, I will file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau against Global Client Solutions and Rocky Mountain Bank. I had contacted the BBB regarding National Settlements, from which the BBB told me that the company was non-responsive and that I should take this to small claims court.

I will also be reporting this to the Attorney Generals of TX, OK, CO and my state of NY, the federal trade commission and the FBI for this multi-state scam.

I will also be notifying all media possible in these companies respective states.

Finally, anyone over 65 beware, National Settlements has 2 websites targeting this group under the name National Estate Planning. The websites are Natlep.com and Nationalestateplanning.com.

National Settlements, Global Client Solutions and Rock Mountain Bank

AUTHOR: Ny - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, December 13, 2008

On 12.8.09 I faxed Natioal Settlements and Charles McGuire a copy of the Rip-off Report I filed here and still no response.

On 12.11.09 I called Global Client Solutions, according to Global Client Solutions they consider themselves the paying agent and have no responsibility in the matter of aiding and abetting another agency in engaging in fraud.

Global Client Solutions has NO POLICY for when something like this happens. I told the woman who answered the phone that I wanted my account notated that fraud had occurred and that I was notifying the Attorney General and the FBI and needed a record of this complaint. She was reluctant to help and even indignantly questioned my claim of fraud.

All the woman on the phone would do is call the debt settlement company. So I told her, "Go ahead call them."

After about a minute of waiting on the phone, she returned only to tell me that she could NOT get them on the phone, that she could only leave a message. She then asked me, "how do I contact them?" I told her that "I call them, e-mail them, fax them, and never get a response." I told her I wasn't surprised that she could not get them on the phone, and that I always have to leave a message and that this has been going on for 8 months.

I demanded that she notate my account with this grievance. She finally conceded, told me GCS has no policy regarding this and would pass it on to her supervisor.

I asked her that I needed to contact Rocky Mountain Bank because banks have a system in place when fraud has happened, and her response was they will only refer you to Global Client Solutions. Very interesting.

Sounds like a perfect scam. National Settlements by being non-responsive, leaves Global Client Solutions and Rocky Mountain Bank as the other companies who will answer the phone but will claim no responsibility and will offer no help despite the fact that they are assisting another company in stealing my money (A total of 12,309).

As of today 12/13/08, I will be sending an official letter to Rocky Mountain Bank. I will also be sending letters to Attorney Generals of every company involved as well my attorney general of NY, the FBI, and respective senators of TX, OK, CO, and NY.

I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB for Global Client Solutions and Rocky Mountain Bank via the Internet. I had already filed a complaint against National Settlements, the BBB was also unsuccessful in getting any response from National Settlements.

Finally, I will be notifying the media about National Settlements (aka Naitonal Estate Planning) in TX, Global Clinet Solutions in OK, Rocky Mountain Bank in CO.

Also, I find it very curious, that you can find 2 websites now. Natlep.com and nationalestateplanning.com. Same address and phone number as National Settlements. Everyone beware, the websites focuses on people 65 and older.
