We thought we were getting a great deal on nice photos, but it was too good to be true. First of all, we ordered our session to be in black and white, but when I viewed the photos they were all printed in color. They still were really nice photos, so I didn't put up a fuss about it--I didn't want to have to wait for them to be re-printed, and I did like them even though it wasn't what we wanted. We spent over $500 on the large package, so we were told we would receive 96 free holiday cards with free overnight shipping, and to expect them within 5 days from the order date which was Nov 19th. I was excited to hand these out at Thanksgiving and save on a lot of postage, but the cards did not arrive. I called the company at least a dozen times and was told I should get them "any day", or "soon". No one would ever give me a date. At no point did anyone even apologize, rather they made it sound like my calling AGAIN was an inconvenience to them. My calls were disconnected on numerous occasions, but no one ever called back even though they have my number on file, and I was put on hold without being told I was going to be several times as well. I have spoken with the "manager" directly, and she provided no more assistance. In fact, she asked me to call back at a specific time one day so she could walk somewhere and check for a date the cards would be sent, and when I called back, I of course only got her voice mail and never got a call back. Well, today 12/17 (4 WEEKS after my order was placed), I received holiday cards. 50 of them. Not 96 as promised. And I have still yet to receive the rest of my order which includes prints and a framed composite. I called the company yet again, to receive the same rude treatment. I was told I will be sent another 50 cards (as though this is a bonus--I should have already had this many), which will doubtfully even arrive before the holidays, so they don't serve much of a purpose anymore. In all of this, I have never been offered an "I'm sorry", or a refund, or anything really, except to get what I paid for "any day now". I have also filed a Better Business Bureau claim, and will be calling HyVee where the photographer had his portable studio to tell them about this awful experience. This is all a really big shame, as the photographer was very nice, and the photos are lovely. I can't say the same about the rest of the company.
