I contracted with Nationwide Moving Services to move my household goods from Colorado Springs, CO to Phoenix, AZ.  To secure the move, I had to pay a deposit of $595.20, after which I was scheduled for loading on July 11th.

After numerous phone calls to verify my move was set, I was guaranteed pick up on July 11th, and was told that the driver would call the day before to arrange the scheduling for the day of pick up.  The phone call I received from the driver was not to arrange a load time, but to inform me he had broken down.

I immediately contacted Nationwide Moving Services to get another driver to load us.  I was told numerous times that Nationwide dispatch was "on the phone with a driver", yet dispatch could not give me a name and number for the driver.

My wife and I had to spend two nights in a hotel while waiting for Nationwide to get a driver to us.  After the second night in a hotel, it became obvious that we would have to rent a U-Haul and hire a different company to load/unload us, which we did.

During the numerous telephone calls, an individual claiming to be a manager gave me a phone number-purportedly her cell phone, so that I could reach her after office hours.  I tried calling the number several times, with no success.

Every promise or guarantee this company has made has been empty.  Every statement has been a lie.  There has not been a single person at this company that has followed through with anything they have said.  I was promised a refund of my deposit by July 20th, but not surprisingly the refund was not there.

It is now to the point of filing a dispute with Mastercard, filing a complaint with the FMCSA, and filing suit in court.  I would encourage everyone to avoid using this company as they are quick to take your money but are not concerned with providing the contracted service.
