I also agree, when I dig into Jim Plunket's background and this case specifically, he is bad news.

Plunkett and Clan are the Scammers!!!!!

Agreed! The evidence is clear that it is Plunkett and his partners that everyone should stay away from. Plunkett apparently cannot abide by any agreement he signs so just do not do business with this DEADBEAT. Even if if you win legally, he will find a way to screw you again (witness his filinf bankruptcy to get out of paying Nationwide). Doing a bit of research on Jim Plunkett will reveal several DUI's as well - stay away from this POS.

Cripes! It is clear to anyone reading these things that the fishgills, DK, Jim, Lee, HonestJohn and Honest Abe are none other than Plunkett and his partners (Hall and Cashion). Dudes, you've been busted so leave this company alone. Plunkett has already illustrated that Nationwide has good lawyers during his whining about only losing due to running out of money. Hang it up you pathetic losers.

Jim, clearly I have a bone to pick - the bone of truth, which obviously you are not familiar with. You and your buddy, Lee post these smears against Nationwide but when the light is shined upon the facts, it is you who are shown to be the scammer. Nationwide appears to have had every right to withhold your payments and further, it is them that getting the shaft from you to the tune of $150,000. As far as not being satisfied, I think that mantel clearly lies with you. Please grow up and move on. You have exposed yourself as someone people should stay away from and not do business with. Good day, sir.

I did read the court documents and stand corrected. The legal fees were $117K, not $200K. However, the excuse that you ran out of money is bunk. If YOU had such an airtight case, a lawyer would have stuck with it, especially since the loser pays the winners legal fees. Further, if Nationwide had no case against you, it seems far-fetched to believe a Federal Judge, not some local judge who is buddies with the other side, would have ruled against you. In reading the judgement, the judge appears to have bent over backwards in giving you leeway to represent yourself. However, YOU were found to have WILLFULLY infriged on their trademark, made false statements, attempted to steal their customers, did not pay back funds fronted to you and failed to provide documents the court asked for. This sounds to a reasonable person that YOU, in fact were the party attempting a scam.
Lawyer or not, the facts are not in your favor yet you and your cohorts are intent on smearing Nationwide's reputation. This sounds like you are a jilted junior high school girl friend.

Can you believe these guys?
AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

Actually, sounds like the agent LOST the lawsuit
Wow! I am the agent and I think I already said I lost the lawsuit because Nationwide got a Summary Judgement because I could no longer afford to pay attorneys to defend a bogus lawsuit that had run in tens of thousands of dollars
(and thanks to his information, I was able to look up the court records) - What information? All I said is you can find it on the internet.
and owes the company over $200,000 in legal fees.
Actually about $120,000 - $25,000 on the initial summary judgement and $90,000+ on their attorneys fees which were also awarded because I couldn't afford to hire a lawyer to defend myself (the sued my LLC as well as me personally and the LLC could not use pro se represntation).
Looks more like HE is the scammer and got busted. Probably will file bankruptcy to get out of paying. A scammer and deadbeat.
Clearly this must be the owners (nonni and Allen) posting this and yes I was forced into bankruptcy and if you want to risk doing business with people like this - you deserve what you get. *Nationwide (and PowerPay) are owned (majority) by EVO merchant services.

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

I am the agent DK refers to above that got sued. I approached Nationwide in late 2007 with the concept for their government product they call Municipay. They signed an agreement with me for a period of exclusivity, and a 60% revenue share. Before they released the product they informed me they were renegotiating the signed agreement and not honoring the exclusivity and then they proceeded to offer it to their agents. We never agreed and foolishly kept boarding customers...there was no other alternative...of course like everyone else, they never paid us. When I picked up and moved to a competing acquirer with the solution and beat them in their own home town...Portland, Maine...on an RFP for payment services for the City...they sued me (both my business and me personally)...spending over $125,000 to get a judgment that was ultimately less than $25,000 and that was not based on anything except the fact that I ran out of funds and my lawyers quit. The legal docs are all over the web for anyone that wants to look. They also filed a fraudulent patent application. Nonni conspired to do this with his partner Allen and Danielle McGillicudy (above) knows exactly what transpired, she was there through the whole shenanigans. This company and their employees and agents represent the worst type of people to get involved in business and should be avoided at all cost. I am surprised that EVO (who owns 51%) or Global or HSBC hasn't handcuffed these guys yet for fraudulent behavior.

The truth
AUTHOR: Jamie Nonni - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 24, 2011
I am the CEO, co-founder and co-owner of Nationwide Payment Solutions LLC. Although Brian Soares has done a great job rebutting this post, I felt it was necessary to post a comment as well. While our company has an almost flawless reputation over the past 9 years, we do occasionally need to protect the it and defend its reputation. Our company was built on the highest level of ethics and I will say with certainty that we have never stopped paying residual payments to any agent without a good reason and stand behind the decisions we make. In fact we pay out more than $5Million in residual payments to our sales partners every year.
There are always 2 sides to every story and obviously this person has chosen not to try to resolve matters with us directly. They state they have tried to communicate with us, however I do not believe that is the case and invite this person to contact me directly if they like to resolve the matter. I will say however that we will not tolerate sales people who are dishonest.
We are a good fit for many self driven career minded entrepreneurs, however I'll be the first to say that we are unique and that our sales program does not fit everyone, especially people who are looking to make a quick buck. If you or anyone else would like to learn more about how NPS can fit into your long term goals, or simply would like to learn why NPS has retained more than 85% of its sales people over the past 9 years, feel free to contact me directly at Jamie.Nonni@getnationwide.com

Throwing Stones?
AUTHOR: bsoares - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, May 24, 2011
In the ten years since our company has been in existence, we have only withheld residuals from two sales (unprofessionals). In these cases, there was fraudulent activity be conducted by the sales person.
We are willing to stand behind our company with our name. My name is Brian Soares and I am the VP of Business Development. It is interesting that the sales people complaining are not willing to reveal their names.
Nationwide Payment Solutions has never missed a residual payment, and has always paid timely every month since the company started.
