Neighbors Moving and Storage Father and sons movers This Company is a scam took a 70 year old woman for 2519 plus 472 totalling 2991 Pompano beach, Florida

On June 25th 2011 My adopted mother and I hired Neighbors moving to move her from her place to mine we was quoted 1888.00 and pick up on the 29th of june they never showed up and we kept calling them to find out where the truck was she had to be out by the 30th of june finally we got someone after 3 hours of calling and they told us the truck would be there that afternoon well it didn't show.The truck finally showed up and we had everything packed and had a quote for 4000 pounds well she gave alot of the bigger items away totatling her invertory to about 1500 pounds they would not adjust it for a lower price the movers (father and sons)stated that they needed to repack boxes charged her 300 hundred when we said we would do it they put smaller boxes in bigger boxes never repacked it and charged her for stairs in the contract the first flight is free she only had one flight...

Well it only got worse then one had to take a nap and then the other one took off for 2 hours when the assumed their job She was told if someone didn't help one of them carry her china cabinet down stairs it wasn't going they damaged he low boy chest(that you would find in a nice hotel used for suit cases) in front of us when we spoke up we was asked who was doing the moving them or us they finally finish after 5 1/2 hours and took off at that point the total was 1791 they stated they don't deliver on weekends(we asked) well we get to florida and two weeks later the driver calls at 9:45pm on a friday and says he will be here at 8 am on sat we tried to talk to him and have him put it off until 9 am when the bank was open and storage place was open he stated 8 am or two weeks later and that he would call at 7am well at 7 am I spoke with him and said the bank opens at 9 am and to deliver the stuff and I will run to the bank and get the cashiers check he then stated that as we are speaking they are off loading the truck into storage we never asked for this two weeks later we are still trying to get the stuff and we are told the price is now 1919 and to get the stuff we would have to pay 2519 this is on a monday then on wednesday we get intouch with them again and asked when the delivery was gonna be they said she now owes 2919 and to send the check to billierica MA then they might decide to deliver the stuff then later on that after noon they call her up and said if the payment was not made with in a day they was going to auction her stuff off they are holding her stuff hostage as we speak we went to the sheriffs office and was told that they couldn't help us out to get the stuff..

She is crying everynight getting depressed can't afford a lawyer and should really only be paying less then the 1416.00 for the move and the 1416.00 is the remainder of the 4000 pound quote all we get is voicemails and people talking over us when we try to resolve the problem....

Please do yourselves a huge favor don't hire father and sons moving and storage or Neighbors moving and storage they both are owned by the same guy I wish we hadn't and we could get our stuff it is everything she has worked hard for in her 56 years of working.If I could afford a lawyer and the local law enforcement here helpped us out we would have our stuff and this everynight crying thing would stop and she can live out her life retired and laid back like should should have been able too.....
