we hired neighbors moving for a move from indiana to flordia. they hired peace movers from south hollond ill. our move was horrible these people not only broke almost everything the left scrathes , nicks and broken glass. Our new bedroom , dinning furniture has scratches, chips of wood out of it and broken glass in the hutch. this was all only 2years old. our big screen tv is scratch and has indentations on the screan it is a 63 in tv that was new and we were told the tv needs to be replaced. We have several things missing and the boxes were gone thru by the movers. we have several items that are not replaceable because they are from family that has passed away. my dads urn is scratched and dinted. the movers were upset we did not give them extra. they looked in the cabinets and everywhere for food. they kept dropping the items so we have alot of breakage. we were told to read the paperwork later and that they only took cash. our move cost us about triple what the quoate was and it has be a nightmare. no one returns calls and we have insurance on the move and they do not want to settle this. everytime i call someone is at lunch, vacation, bank , or a funeral. we just want want is owed us so we can recover some of the loss.
