Dishonest Bicycle Store! As soon as I walked in with my 1 year old bicycle, the owner tried to sell me a new bike without asking me anything first! I received the bicycle back, unfixed for $65. I rode it only 1 mile to discover it was still broken. When I returned I asked the owner to try to fix it again, but he lied about fixinf it and was rude and said that nothing was wrong with it, then tried to get me to buy a new expensive, part not related to the problem. If nothing qwas wrong with it, then why did I need to pay $65?!?! I took it to another shop and they identified the problem quickly and replaced the pedals. If a bike shop owner cannot spot something as simple and cheap as a broken pedal, Neptune Cyclery should not be in business!!!

Clicking noise

I explained my bike had a clicking noise, and left it here for repairs. Then I received the bicycle back the following day. I rode it only 1 mile to discover it was still clicking. When I returned I asked the owner to try to fix it again, but he insisted that nothing was wrong with it and that it was not clicking at all. I took it to another shop and they identified the problem very quickly on the spot - that the clicking noise was caused by broken pedals and they replaced the pedals. This bike shop did not spot a problem as simple and cheap as a broken pedal.
