I recently purchased a vehicle from NESS auto sales in Fargo.  We test drove the car, and at that time, I failed to make some critical checks on the Vehicle we purchased.  After purchasing the vehicle we noted the AC was acting up.  I contacted Brad NESS to ask politely to replace the AC unit ( Which eventually cost 985 dollars to replace).  He refused to fix this and eventually got to the point in the phone call with numerous cuz words at myself.

We fixed this and a very important thing I noticed at the time of purchase I pointed out directly to Mr. Ness.  I noticed that when I would move the vehicle left and right, it felt washy.  I told Mr. Ness that something about the washiness of the driving on it was not right.  He told me point blank, there was nothing wrong with it and that was normal.

That was a dangerous and terrible lie, which I found out recently, when my daughter noticed the car seemed to be driving washy and wobbily.  Upon inspection of the Vehicle, it was determined the ENTIRE tie rod assembly was very close to failing, which would have resulted in a hurt or killed daughter.

The story is this.  By buying from NESS auto sales a vehicle, instead of the initial cost of purchase, if anyone buys a car from there can be expected to be sold a vehicle plus and extra $ 2298, in the cost of the repairs.

Mr. Ness is a liar, a cheat, and should be avoided for any car sales in this area.  Please look elsewhere for a vehicle, and please spend the money to do a auto inspection on ANY vehicle.....A lesson I sadly learned in trusting this auto sale.

Absured Complaint to a Vehicle which was purchased "ASIS".

AUTHOR: Jon - ()

POSTED: Thursday, October 23, 2014

I am the salesman which sold mr. Philip Gray and his daughter a

2003 Hyundai Sante fe which at the time of sale had 83,000

miles on it. This vehicle was sold ASIS no warranty. to qualify for

warranty coverage with our company the vehicle has to be newer

than 8 years old and have less than 75,000 miles which this

vehicle is out on both accounts. This is how this deal went down.

MR Gray his wife and his daughter came in to our dealership and

landed on this vehicle. they test drove it and looked it over very well

and than they had a very well used hyundai sonata with a bad

transmittion to trade. so I made them an offer which was very fair.

but of course it was not accetiable to mr gray so after my getting

very tired of the negoation process I decided to accept mr grays

offer which was much less than it should have been. some time

had passed and mr Gray contacted me about some air cond.issues

his daughter was having with her vehicle. I told him that I would

have our repair facility fix the problem and I would take care of

50% of the bill. but of course this was not acceptiable to mr gray

I told him that was my offer take it or leave it. now we have to

rember we accepted mr grays offer and sold him a vehicle that

was asis with no warranty. So in return mr gray files this complaint

and throwes in a number of other normal wear and tear items and

comes up with an over inflated cost of repairs and than claims

that mr Ness had talked to him and used a bunch of profanity

in the conversation and funny thing is that mr Ness has never

even met mr Philip Gray. so the just of this story is that from

time to time a salesman such as my self crosses paths with a

person who is un realistic and has zero commen sense. But now

we know better than to deal with him again. Thanks for hearing

me out.

YOU put your daughter behind the wheel of a car that YOU knew had bad A/C and a steering problem. You gave your daughter poor direction on how to shop for a car.
