netflix has dishonest employees. don't ask them to add a gift card sub to your account for furniture use they will take your gift card and use it for there self. now the gift card is no good because the employee give it to a family member or used it for there self. i have been scammed 12 months gift card.

i called in 3-18-2013 and asked the employee on the phone to add my 12 month gift card to the account notes. come to find out the employee has used it for there self. because when i went to apply the gift card at the end of my other gift card term it says it is no valid. now they told me some body has used it. no body else had that code. I am out 12 months worth of service i have paid for. while the employee enjoys my money i paid for it.  This company highers disshonest employees that take phone calls. I am a victim of this all here. bbb.org complaints and nc attorney general complaints they dont respond.  what a worthless company. do business with at your own risk.  If i where you i would be worried about what info the netflix.com phone reps have on you. if they liea cheat and steal form you like this. they might steal your credit card info. next thing you know you got id theft problems because this company wants to employee criminals and diss honest employees. they refuse to tell me what accound it was applyed to. what a disshonest company.  customer service via phone is a 100% joke.  i just want what i paid for. this is uncalled for.  i have been tooken for a ride and it was no fun. they ripped me off $95.40.  they need more diss honest employees in there life. i hope they higher 10,000 more who lie cheat and steal. oh we are sorry some body else used your gift card. well no body else had the code how could some body else use it. it must he been the employee when i called it in. They cant prove it and will not give me my 12 months.

I can not prove it but i know for a fact they lie cheap and steal. this company is nothing but a scam. i have been taken for a ride and i dont like it. do business with them at your own risk i dont care who wants to defance them. I have been done wrong. If they charge my credit card i will sue  them. i have faxed and mailed a letter saying ( you dont have permission to bill my creidt card period. if you bill my credit card at the end of term i will file a back charge and law suit.) the head office has this letter. This company highers diss honest employees who lie cheat and steal. i would be worried about what info i give them over the phone.   next thing you know they will steal your credit card and use it for there self.  once a cook allways a crook.

Before you go around the internet I suggest you do some research. You are blaming an employee for theft when you have no proof other then your card is no longer valid. There is a common practice with gift card thieves. They will buy a gift card then use it. Then change one or two of the numbers or letters and claim the gift card isnt working. For customer service ppl, they tend to believe these ppl when it happends. So you may have had your gift card pirated, but not by the ppl in question.

You can call the company who issued the gift card and ask for dates and times and locations of ANY purchases on said gift card. If it is shown that your gift card was used AFTER you made your call then you have some PROOF of a employee stealing and have legal recourse. If it happend before your call then you were taken by someone useing the system.

Plus the BBB IS NOT A REGULATORY AGENCY. They have no power what so ever to do anything to help you. They are a ADVOCACY GROUP. PPL CAN PAY THEM TO GET FAVORABLE RATINGS!! So no help there.

As for your state AG, you do realize that they hear EVERY complaint. But there are many they can not handle. Many of these complaints normally have no bearing or substance. ppl just looking for SOMEONE to complain to. In most cases the amounts ppl are claiming are not in the neighborhood the AG works in. Most are small claims court. So you wont see ANY help there.

Your best course of action is to find out when the gift card was spent. This will tell you how to proceed. If the employee did steal this card, then you should be able to WORK your way up the consumer complaint department and get resolution that way. They hired the person and they are responsable for ANYTHING that employee did.

If it turns out your card was stolen BEFORE the call, then you have no action here. Consider it a mugging without the danger of being  mugged. ALL GIFT CARDS ARE THE SAME AS CASH AND SHOULD BE HANDLED AS SUCH. This means they wont be giving you ANYTHING back. That would be like getting robbed for $100 then going back to the Bank and telling them they owed you a $100 because someone else stole it. Its not rational. Its not logical. And its pretty assinine to expect.
