Netspend Metabank is a Joke- Blocked Card for No Reason- Difficult to Communicate Held money hostage! Austin Texas

I have a Netspend Prepaid Visa card for my payroll deposits.   Generally not had a problem and like that I get money deposited quickly.  However, ran into a huge problem when I lost my card recently and had to request a new one while money as sitting in the account.  

I called Netspend and asked fastest way to get withdrawal of my money with a lost card. They told me to go to a reload center and buy a temporary card then do a transfer until I get my primary card in mail. I bought the card. But guess what, it BLOCKED me for making transfers because they said they needed me to send in identification information! And that this would take 2 BUSINESS DAYS to verify!  They told me this after four 1- hour phone calls through multiple representatives, one telling me two business hours, next one six business hours.  

Then the supevisor tells me the block may not even be removed until I get my PRIMARY card!!!!!!!  So they are essentially holding my money hostage and cannot offer overnight mail or any alternative to getting a new card.   The phone agents are difficult to communicate with and give out multiple wrong information or inconsistent information.  I am closing account soon and using another card provider.
