I hired Don Peterson's service to build a website and i had the worst experience using services online ever, I am taking the time to share the wors't experience I had using a service online without a formal reference. As consumers we deserve to have our rights respected.

After I signed a contract and paid the initicial fees, he was not as responsive as he was before getting paid,  nowhere to be found, he doesn't respond phone calls at all and voicemail is not available witch it is already a red flag. I warned him in case i could not comunnicate with him I would like to get a refund so i could hire another professional then he started to answer my emails again.

The communication was never good and he could never come up with something according to my instructions. Then he did one of worst things a web designer could do to you.

Without my consent he published in his personal website a template with my business name, my private pictures and my business information without I had even launching the business, for his own advertiment. Violating my privacy, my image's right and client's confidentiality.

 I emailed him requesting the removal of all my information from his site for violating my privacy rights and obviously after that i did not want to work with this person anymore,  and asked for a reimbursement for the initial fee for the damages he caused. Emailed him, he never answered and of course was nowhere to be found.

 he has already another complaint in this same site against him at this site for similar reasons, take this in consideration before you ever use his services. Also he doesn't accept paypal or credit cards, he wants you to pay him by check or transfer the money directly to him witch means even if you sign a contract if he doesn't want to give your money back you would have to file charges agaisnt him witch you have to spend time and money with attorney's fee. it is not also clear where he lives if he is in a different state than you are things get even more difficult for you to claim.

Protect yourself from this type of deshonest professional online, nobody deserves to have this kind of experience.
