We have had the unfortunate expereince of involving ourselves with the aforementioned company.
We contacted Nu-Style and repeatedly explained our requirements regarding an external shading system at our apartment. A Mr. Jas Bath assured us that their "Zen Patio" system would meet our requirements.
We were quoted a price and paid a $1000 deposit and were told that the system would be installed within 4 weeks. Nearly 8 weeks later, after multiple unresponded to phone calls, we finally managed to contact someone about our order, only to find out that the company (a) got the order wrong and (b) attempted to extort additional funds from us in order to rectify their mistake, even though they were provided with supportive correspondence by us indicating their obvious mistake.
Mr. Bath refused to acknowledge the company mistakes and, at the time of posting this report, even though nothing has been supplied we are still more than $1,000 out of pocket.
The incompetence and complete lack of integrity and customer service provided by Nu-Style is beyond anything we have ever been exposed to.
If you are considering purchasing any outdoor shading systems, blinds, awnings or window dressings - look elsewhere, Nu-Style take custom service to the lowest depths imaginable.

Dear disgruntled,
One must take note of the names of the product you wish to purchase, a contract was written and signed by you clearly statng the NAME of the product you requested.
It was unfortunate in this case where you got the NAME wrong and our company was able to pick up on this error and yes we do appolgise for needing exta time to re produce another product for you !
Nu-Style Home Improvements did reimburse your deposit immediately and saying otherwise is a clear case of defamation towards our Company's reputation.
Here at Nu-style we take much pride in our reputation , our products and having our products applied to the customers home.

Having recently done a search on Nu-Style Home Improvements, I was amazed and disheartended to find that another consumer had experienced a remarkably similar set of circumstances as we did. We briefed Mr. Jas Bath as to the requirements we had for my 85 year old mother's free standing shade system. My mother paid Nu-Style Home Improvements a $1,000 deposit and was assured that delivery and installation would occur within 4 weeks. As the weeks passed my mother and I made multiple approaches to Mr. Bath regarding the status of our shade system and was repeatedly told that the system would be available "soon". When finally slated for installation we were informed - in spite of multiple assurances - that the shade system to be delivered was completely inappropriate for my mother's needs and would not be allowed by the body corporate controlling her building.
Mr. Bath made no apologises and accused us and my mother (85 years of age) of being at fault, in-spite of written correspondence to the contra.
Do yourself a favour - if you are approached by Mr. Jas Bath or Nu-Style Home Improvements - run (as fast as you can) - in the opposite direction!
