Oasis Travel Dishonest, Unprofessional, Scam, rude SWANSEA Illinois

I put down a deposit for myself and a friend for  Niece's wedding which was taking place in Jamaica in October 2014. When putting down the deposit we asked about the cancellation ploicy and was told that as long as it was 60 days in advance there would be no problem receiving a refund. When we put our initial deposit of cash down she refused to give a receipt or any paperwork to back up that we were in fact booked for the trip. My friend had to cancel in May and after many lies and  a heated conversation which the travel agent escalated, she agreed to put my friend's intiial $200 deposit towards my account. This was after speaking to Apple vacations corporate manager. I had never heard from her after that, not an email or phone call. Someone from the wedding group called and cancelled for me without my knowledge and she accepted it without so much as a phone call to me to verify. I had atempted to reach her on several occassions in order to cancel my trip due to medical issues with no return calls. I finally blocked my number and reached her on 10/7/14 trying to work out at least a partial refunf on my deposit. She screamed at me on the phone and told me there would be no refund and that I was costing my Niece $800 in comps. I asked her how she can cancel my trip based on some strange girl calling to cancel for me. I was told that she did it anyway. I also stated that I have never heard from her, she told me too bad. I than told her that I would be speaking to the bride to be and she said good luck with that. Janice is very unprfessional, unorganized and I feel that she scammed me out of $400.00 Do Not do business with this Company!
