Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are now transferring servicing rights of prime loans in good standing to sh*tholes like Ocwen and Seterus. That's right: A person with great credit history and a stellar payment record who is currently with Wells, BOA or Chase may open their mailbox and be horrified to find out that their loan was given to Ocwen or Seterus. Here is what you can expect:
- A website that is always down for "maintenance"
- Customer service by representatives that can't speak English
- Constant requests to "prove" you have homeowners insurance
- Any documentation that you fax them to prove you have insurance will NEVER, EVER be received
- Payments credited when "they get around to it" , even if you pay online
- Constant huckstering of worthless financial products and useless insurance products
