Old Dominion Freightlines ODL, ODF, Old Dominion, ODFL Refuse to cover shipping damage Omaha Nationwide

Our vendor shipped us a $3,700 Hydronic heat pump (from Mexico) via ODL.  The unit was palletized, covered in cardboard, and banded to the pallet.  The exterior had no signs of damage or impact.  We received the unit and 45 minutes later when we inpackaged it to install there was major impact damage found.  Damage was documented and claim filed in under an hour.  Old Dominion refused to warranty their shipment, even though 'hidden damage' is covered under the policies.  Now our company is out $3,700.  HVAC contractors and supplies, use Old Dominion at your risk.
