We deposited my payroll check via Our Branch Atm on a Sunday 5/22/16 @ 1:30pm. The dep was credited, then pulled and put on 'hold' based on the following: 1) We used the ATM for the deposit.  2) the 3rd week of each month we (their words!) 'cut it too close'. Not in the red....just 'too close'.....seriously?

They then hit us for over $100. in NSF charges, because they refused our payroll deposit.

It took a personal visit, then a very heated phone discussion before they said "Oh! Whoops!", then cleared the payroll check and promised us the OD charges would be cancelled and refunded.

This bank is a bunch of scam artists. I feel sorry for the employees who are doing their best.

So....this indicates that their ATM is worthless for 24 hr banking.

And they can and will look at a clients income and decide whether or not they are 'worthy' based on their income.

Clearly.....if you have money all the time, ONB is not a problem. If you are of 'poor folk' ONB will decide for you if even your payroll deposites are worth their time. If they choose that your paycheck is not good enough...they will kick you for every charge they can. Even to the point of holding your own deposits and then hitting you for the NSF charges that would not have existed had they credited your deposit. Get your money out of this place!

Sorry Sir, You're wrong. Yes, we used the atm. No, we never expected immediate access to our cash.

But 48 hours/2 biz days later? Um, yeah.

It's Our money and we waited knowing full well we would have to wait.

Do I balance our accounts? To the penny, daily, dude.

Sorry, your high horse has some edgy legs.

If we're such losers how come the bank apologized and gave us back our money?

I still have no faith in them and we are preparing the move to another bank.

This episode was not the first, but it Will be the last.

So then...what you are expecting is you deposit a check during the weekend using an ATM and you expect that money to be available one second later?  What you haven't done is read and understand their "Funds Availability" policy.  I don't have an account there and it was very easy to find on their website!  What you do is use the account WITHOUT knowing what your balance is and run up overdraft fees.  That's all their fault too, isn't it?  What did your CHECK REGISTER say when you made the deposit?  You don't keep one, do you?  That's all their fault too, correct?  Oh yes, don't bother wasting your time saying otherwise.  I'll tell you ahead of time, I don't work for them.

NO RIPOFF HERE -- Complainer chose to NOT abide by the "FUNDS AVAILABILITY POLICY" and in all probability does not keep written records with an on-going running balance.
