We brought my sons F150 in for a noise problem in the rear of the Truck.this was during the christmas holiday. We worked with Mark it seemed like everytime we called they still had not found the problems but found other problmes wrong instead. The noise was never taken care of. We did however ask for them to look over the truck and look at the belts, do an oil change simple tune up while they had the truck there. They said the noise was from spark plugs needing to be changed out so we had them replace the spark plugs then they performed more work such as an oil change, replaced some belts etc...
After several weeks of polite rudness on the phone we got our Truck back only to have the truck in worse shape then we brought it in. There was now a leak that wasnt there before. The sound was still very present (so the spark plugs were not the problem) and The electrical instrument panel was not working and the temp gage would go to extreme hot then back to cold acting very bizzare. We took it back to Omera they told us the leak was an axel leak, The sound was something that was not detected when they test drove it after the fix, and the instrument panel was something new and would cost us more money. I had my son go into to get his truck and they would not release the truck to him without us paying more money for them running a diagnostics basically holding the truck hostage.
We took the truck to a different service garage we requested a reciept from Omera to show the work that was performed by there service department and the garage helped us understand what went wrong. The leak was actually from a gasket Omera had replaced. the noise was from the Diferential needing repaired (this is the reason we brought the truck into Omera in the first place) and the instrument panel problems could have been from them repairing the unathorized Airbag Recall that was never discussed or approved.
When we called it to talk to a supervisor it fell on deaf ears we would be directed back to Mark who basically smiled thru the phone and never did anything. We did get a hold of a service Manager and we were asked to bring the truck back in for a third time we requested not to work with Mark as it felt like he just didnt care and he would provide the crrect answer but do nothing. When my son broght the truck in he was met by Mark again and there was no record of the call we had that the truck was to be looked over once again. Frustration is an understatment at this time. I called and spoke to the Manager about this and he said they are looking it over and would get back to us. Once again we walked away disappointed and unsatisfied they willnot fix the instrument problem that they broke, The leak was fixed it was not an axel leak it was the gasket from there work. The kicker is now the truck stalls.... I called to tell them this problem and there answer to the problem is bring it in and we can take a look at it... I cant afford to bring it in everytine we bring it in something more breaks... Biggest RIP OFF ever they just dont care.
There are so many bad reviews online about this dealership and their practices. we are filing a complaint with Ford, and the State of Colorado for this action against us. I will also file a claim with the Consumer Fraud Division. Last, but not least I will file a claim in the Small Claims Division.
