I typed in "Microsoft Vista Support" in google and clicked on microsoft support. I got this company and regret it.  They passed themselves off as microsoft.  I just purchased microsoft vista and microsoft flight simulator x gold and installed it on the computer using three monitors. I added a four as to get the best results, you can stretch the two center monitors to 900 x 3200 resolution insted of 900 x 1600 for each and it would count as one monitor.  I explained this to the tech support person and he said he would have to access my computer and said to type logmein123 in the box. Once he got in my computer, he started to tell me he could make my computer run faster and make the games operate with better resolution.

All this would cost $359 for two years, i said no thanks, then he gave a sales pitch on one for $199, after i said no thanks, he tried for the $99 special for 6 months. I informed him that i purchased vista and have the receipt and serial number and all i needed was how to combine the two monitors.  He stated that all you get when you purchase a windows product is the disk and if you want any more information about installation and operating proceedures, you would have to purchase  a package from him.  I questioned him about working for microsoft or him saying that he was a certified microsoft technician means he actually works for microsoft. I said anyone can say that they are a certified mirosoft technicial, but do you work for "Microsoft"???? He got upset, arrogant, and would not answer the question.

I asked if he knew how to combine the two monitors in vista and he said yes, but it would cost me.  I figured right then that he probably did not work for microsoft. It was too late.  He ended the session.  I went back into microsoft flight simulator and after only minutes, it froze.  He did something to get back at me.

I called omni support again later and the next technician said he would fix the problem, accessed my computer and started the same pitch again.  After i figured out that he was after money again and confronted him, he did the same thing.  This time it was even worse.

I tried to call back and they must have my telephone number, after it answers and goes through the sequence, it just hangs up on me.  I tried a different number and they answer until you mention your name and then, bang, they hang up on you.  They got into the registry because i watched them with the mouse pointer and damaged it so if you say no to the sales pitch, you get screwed and have to deal with them.  I was lucky not to get any of their scam warranty plans, but the blasted my computer.

It was brand new and ran perfect before i called them and they got access to it.  I ran flight simulator x for two to three hours at a time. Now after 2 or 3 minutes, it slows down and freezes.I called microsoft and they informed me that there is nothing they can do as omintech is not microsoft, it is it's own company and i would have to deal with them to get my computer back the way it was.  I would like to warn anyone within shouting distance to stay clear of omnitech and don't ever let them take over your computer.

This company Does claim official connection with Microsoft

Both on the website and verbally.  Microsoft denies any relationship but declines to take steps to repair their reputation by actively repudiating the claimes of this company.

There is no way, we can pass ourselves off as Microsoft and indeed we never do so.

In an advance, we would like to say that Microsoft sites are not directing customers to our site! Here, it needs to be clear that we are individual organization and running this business successfully with pride and passion more than 10 years. One can easily find about our business in www.omnitechsupport.com website. There is no way, we can pass ourselves off as Microsoft and indeed we never do so.

This person has misunderstood our technician. With hundreds of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineers (MCSE) figuring amongst our OTS technicians, we give remotely managed computer repair services a new complexion. Daily we provide support through remote access and resolve the technical issues on customers computer without any hassle. We never screw up anyones computer by taking remote access and we cannot do so as it is a very transparent process. Whatever our technician does throughout the remote connection that always be visible to the customer. This person does not have
much knowledge about the remote access. One cannot ruin the brand new computer only by taking remote access for few seconds. The system must have malicious software installed or virus affected and thats resulted inoperable machine.

Our technician offered him such a beneficial service plan which could have saved his computer. However, this person was not aware of the status of his own computer. This person is an example who wants all the resolutions for his issues (which may take more time and efforts than expected and also may cost more price than our offered price for the valuable service) without giving any returns.
