One Outboard Blackbird Industries problematic, short term durability Pennsylvania

I contacted One Outboard on line to see if my 200 hp. Johnson outboard could be rebuilt, and their offer was priced less than those around here. Having a block that was bored .oo30 over, I was informed of a rebore of another .0010 complete with new pistons and pre-run break-in for approx. $4500. What a mistake I made going that route. Had all kinds of trouble with-in 2 months of rebuild. ended up with carb, loose flywheel, timing, and starting problems. Now motor has seperated internally, busted block, and powerhead doesn't have mor than 30 hours of actual run time because of time sitting at outboard shops waiting on repairs. At least another $2500 invested and for what. Do yourself a favor . Go with something newer andget a better guarantee. One year guarantees are just that. Useless.
