We then we into the interview and there were 30 other people in the room. We had to fill out papers and the Devil Wears Prada was playing on the television. Then a guy named Derick came in and told us about their company.
Then they called people into the back rooms for an "interview". It was 2 minutes long and she told me to come back tomorrow. So we took the ferry into the city again, so we wasted another $50. They made us wait 45 minutes until they finally called my name to "interview" me. The room looked very sketchy and unprofessional.
The lady asked me questions about school and why I wanted to act. Then she made me read a monologue. She said she really really liked me and wanted to sign me. When she showed us the contract it said we had to pay $495 for shitty pictures, and pay another $40 a month. Luckily my mom was smart enough to know it was a scam and said no.
If you have to pay money upfront for an "agency" DON'T DO IT! They are a SCAM. NEVER PAY UP FRONT! These people are giving children hopes and dreams of becoming actors and models and they never get them one audition!
So if any of you get a phone call from One Source Talent don't even bother going. It'll just waste your time. I wasted $120 on transportation, but at least I didn't wast $500.
