W.Scott / haynonny is an iFreelance / RipOffReport Hooligan

AUTHOR: Onyum - (United States of America)

The above 'Consumer Comment' from W.Scott / haynonny is simply more abuse, more libelous innuendo, more negative SEO and more wasted time. W.Scott / haynonny is an iFreelance / RipOffReport hooligan. The alleged project posted by the alleged potential client W.Scott / haynonny has still not been awarded:

haynonny/W Scott response

AUTHOR: W Scott - (United States of America)

Statements made by Onyum are inaccurate and misleading.   Potential client did not reply nor address representatives of Onyum in aforementioned manner; rather, representatives of Onyum failed to read and/or understand job description and communications of potential client.

Libel is defined as statement of fact that may cause damage or defamation; statements of potential client are clearly presented as personal experience and opinion.

On 21 September representative of Onyum communicated to potential client that "This offer will now retracted and no additional service, support or communication provided." (grammatical errors in situ), and potential client has no option but consider the matter closed to direct communication as, per previous communication from representative of Onyum, "...no additional communication will be provided."; yet representatives of Onyum continued to post private communications with potential client, including placing a second bid on the same project, which was later, again, retracted.  By failing to meet their self-set standard, Onyum has failed to perform as represented, and if a contract were in place these actions could be considered breach of contract.

In their responses to 'Ripoff Report' postings, Onyum continues to state:  "...there was no reason to address..."; "We will not engage in dialogue..."; and "We will not discuss anything with anyone..."; yet representatives of Onyum continue to post comments and messages on issues that appear closed.  These actions, again, potentially raise questions about the legitimacy of Onyum and their business practices.

As Onyum has blocked IP address of potential client, as stated by representative of Onyum; yet offers public access to communications between Onyum and potential client through "...review [of] an archive of communication and more...", Onyum persists in furthering this subject with no direct recourse available to potential client.

Potential client is replying to statements made by representatives of Onyum via 'Ripoff Report' only, and not in an attempt or reply to private communications initiated by Onyum to potential client.

Responded to this ex-client long ago. This client was terminated when she refused to work with us as is clearly disclosed in our FAQ. Until now there was no reason to address this duplicate, cross-posted 'Consumer Comment' as her alleged issues were addressed previously in another of her threads here at RipOffReport. Message direct at our site if you would like to review an archive of communication and more regarding this 'Consumer Comment' from this terminated client. We placed an offer on an 'Earl McCall Photography' project at iFreelance (Project# 68213). Earl McCall Photography posted illiterate Messages. Earl McCall Photography refused to work with us as is clearly outlined in our FAQ. We declined Earl's iFreelance project award. Thomas, our Project Director, messaged Earl last week to try and understand why Earl posted this libelous innuendo at RipOffReport. Earl did not respond. Earl McCall's project is at http://www.ifreelance.com/project/detail.aspx?projectid=68213 . Message direct at our site if you would like to review an archive of communication and more regarding this 'Consumer Comment' from Earl McCall Photography. We will not discuss anything with anyone at RipOffReport.

W.Scott / haynonny responded to an offer we placed on his/her project at iFreelance (Project# 68380). W.Scott / haynonny claimed there were no 3D samples at http://www.Onyum.com/samples/ and would not confirm they had reviewed our FAQ. Our offer was retracted. W.Scott / haynonny then proceeded to harrass us with numerous Messages. We then blocked W.Scott's / haynonny's IP which was not traced to Oklahoma. Thomas, our Project Director, messaged 'W.Scott / haynonny' last week to try and understand why W.Scott / haynonny posted this libelous innuendo at RipOffReport. W.Scott / haynonny did not reply. The W.Scott / haynonny iFreelance project is at http://www.ifreelance.com/project/detail.aspx?projectid=68380 . Message direct at our site if you would like to review an archive of communication and more regarding this 'Consumer Comment' from with W.Scott / haynonny. We will not discuss anything with anyone at RipOffReport.

Onyum: No indication they offer legitimate services

AUTHOR: W Scott - (United States of America)

I have a very brief, but conclusive, experience with 'Onyum' that causes me to question if this company/group/ partnership/individual or whatever they are actually offers any legitimate service they advertise, promote, or bid.

I posted a graphics work job on a freelance job site.   Within a very short time of posting - in fact before the job site had emailed me to confirm my post had been approved - Onyum had placed a bid and included a statement outlining their experience, abilities, professionalism, etc.  But they did not address any of the specific requirements or expected results that I had clearly stated in the job posting.  At this time I didn't reply or send any message.  Shortly afterward, Onyum posted a message about the work stating they had read everything in my job post and were very capable of completing the work.  I replied asking they address the specifics posted in the job listing.   Later in the day I received a message saying 'Nonsense', and if I was an actual buyer with an actual job I need to contact them directly through their website.   They also removed their bid from my job posting.  On their site the only contact information I could find was a very small text box that's impossible to tell if it will accept only a few characters, or a complete message.   Nevertheless I sent my message and await their reply.

In searching through the freelance site, I noticed Onyum has made a bid on virtually every project within certain categories, and they are always the very first to make a bid.  I don't know how they can have the abilities and experience to complete all these various jobs, or how they can confidently post bids within minutes of each job posting without first confirming with their staff and schedule.  For example, it's obvious they don't possess the ability, time, or interest to follow through with my project, as when I insisted they address the requirements in my job post, they retracted their bid and inferred I was not posting legitimate work.   I know my work is legitimate; it's the 'work' of Onyum' and their reluctance to reply to potential clients that places their legitimacy in question.

Onyum.com is extremely unprofessional and rude

AUTHOR: Scamwatch - (United States of America)

Horrible horrible horrible customer service practices. Scammers?

Probably!  This company placed a bid for my project on a freelance web site. The bid was entered for a set amount. When I asked them to confirm the amount, thats when all h**l broke loose. They failed to respond to my initial inquiries and
when they did they respond they were very condescending.

I was told to go to their website and read the FAQ. Once on the website, youll realize that they require you to pay 5.00 if you have a question. I am hiring their services which should be an honor but instead I am advised not to talk with them, but to read their FAQ?

When I finally reach a person and asked a few questions I was told, If you cant understand our FAQ then dont work with us. I went back to the freelance site and messaged the person who entered the bid. I explained what had transpired while chatting with the customer service rep, thinking that he would, as a service provider, make amends and perhaps clarify the situation, which did not happen instead he sent me a one word message that read Whatever.

These guys are nasty and lack proper customer service etiquette. I advise anyone to steer clear. Want proof? Read the tone in their prior rebuttal, then go read their FAQ.    Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! Thank God I did not hire them. I never recieved such rudeness from a public customer service provider.

Whose UNETHICAL business practices

AUTHOR: Jane - (United States of America)

What ethical business puts a confidentiality disclaimer at the bottom of their communications and then pulls a stunt like this?   They are going to publish all their customers private communications!  This is unbelievable, the first time I have ever seen anything like it in my life.

I don't experience ONYUM to be ethical at all.

Who does this?

Obviously their confidentiality disclaimer is a total lie, just like this guy found out!
