Do not use ORR Nissan of Greenville. This is why:
I went in to purchase an SUV, found one the wife and I agreed on bought it on a Friday. It was a 2008 Nissan Armada with 62,000 Miles. I brought it home and went to six flags the very next day, when we got out and started it up it blew a huge cloud of white smoke out of the exhaust pipe. It was very concerning but i thought it may of been a one time thing. Then every time after that when I started up the Armada white smoke came from the pipe.
The very next Monday 2 days after buying the car I brought it back up to ORR Greenville Nissan and told them the problem. They told me they would look at it and see what the problem was and gave me a car to drive. I called everyday after that to see if they had an answer or found anything out on the Armada and no one would call me back or give me an answer. They told me they needed to drive it and put miles on it in order to find the problem. They wanted me to drive it for a month and come back so they could monitor what the problem may be. I of course told them no I just bought this car and after having it less then 24 hours it already has a problem. That i shouldnt have to drive it for them to test a "theory".
Well this went on for 2 weeks and still didnt have an answer of what was wrong and they still had it and i was still in the loaner car. I finally had enough that I just wanted to get out of this car before it was too late. Well I called and told the dealer that i would like to trade it for another SUV that they had and they said ok but I would have to take a hit on it because I already purchased the Armada that "it was mine".
So I was very unhappy with that answer, so they sent me to the Sales Manager John. He said that i was being unreasonable and they were working with me by even fixing or taken the car in on trade that I was "lucky" that they arent just tossing me the keys and saying good luck its yours. At that point I new they didnt care about customer service so I knew there would be a battle to get anything done.
I told them just give me my 2009 Chevy Silverado that I traded in to get the Armada. They said sure we can do that but you will still be paying the differnce and we ran your truck threw the shop and put new tires on it. They gave me 19,700 on the trade and then said they would re sale it to me for 21,400 and i would still have to roll the rest of the money that I was losing on the Armada in to the deal and I put $500 cash down on the Armada originaly that i would never see again.
I was so mad that they would treat someone like this, its not my fault they sold me a car that had problems i just wanted out of it and something i would have piece of mind in. I wante to talk to the General Manger and see if would do anything to help me. He was completly rude and told me they did all they could that he was bending over backwords to help me and I was lucky to get that much help. As i was trying to explain this isnt right that they shouldnt be treating me like this he wouldnt even hold eye contact, he would just look around as to say "im over you i dont care" So after all was said and done I bought an Armada within 24 hours of owening it alredy had a problem, and bought my 2009 Chevy Silverado back and paid more then they gave me and rolled over the Armada ballance. So traded in a truck and got the same truck back and now owe 4 thousand more then i did have a higher payment and also lost the $500 cash i put down on the Armada.
I will never buy something from ORR nissan of Greenville TX again and i hope who ever reads this wont ither.
