This company came to the hospital the day after my daughter was born and took the newborn hospital photos. When the photographer came in she had me get up from the bed so she could take the pictures, which under normal circumstances isn't a problem but since I required help even going to the restroom after a 12 hour delivery that ended in forceps being used and tearing on my part I found that a bit unusual. She then used my bed linens to take the pictures. Having a pale newborn my daughter practically blended in with the white. The packages offered were a bit expensive but I was told they came out after a month and took more photos as part of their services and packages so I bought a package that cost close to $200.

The company that comes to your home is NOT the same company that does the hospital pictures! They gave my info to another company that came to my home. I find this out at a home visit.

I was then contacted about 2 months later for the follow up pictures. When I made the appointment I was given a half hour window in which the photographer was to show up. This photographer showed up an hour late and then was mad that I had to reschedule to do the time allowance needed. When the rescheduled day came I was given a 1 hour window and the photographer was again late. We were told about a program they offer to come out 3 more times and you will receive a 5 x 7 each time and one 16 x 20 for $80 but you had to either decide then or lose the offer. We went with the offer because we were told they are a competitively priced company but she couldn't go over prices because she just takes the pictures. 

The next person that came to our home spent more time talking about her nieces and nephews and our entertainment center than about the portraits. When my husband mentioned the pictures she snapped at him telling him he was jumping the gun. She brought up the pictures and then pulled out their package offers. OH MY! For a mere 9 sheets it was $159.99 plus $$17.99 for shipping and handling plus of course sales tax making it a grand total of $189.55. When I told them I was told at the hospital that portraits were included with what I already purchased I was told no. What I receive from the hospital purchase is just an 8 x 10 ("Oh, and what pose did you want for that?") 

To buy a cd of the pictures alone cost $280. If I wanted the cd with the package I saved a whopping $20! Decisions had to be made right then or I lose it all by the way. It was during this home visit I was also told the people who took the pictures at the hospital are a different company than the ones who at coming to my home! WHAT?!!? 

The prices are no where near competitive! The people who came to my home were less than professional. Their sales pitch is misleading and given at a time when people are at their most vulnerable. They prey on people who have newborns at the hospital and then again at your home. 

I missed out on pictures of my daughter that, had I gone anywhere else, I would have gotten. I paid that amount for pictures at a studio and received 20 sheets, photo cards and a 16 x 20 wall portrait when I had pictures of my other daughter done!

BEWARE of this company!
