WOW, so much for customer service. Painter's meat has Absolutley NO concern for customer satisfaction. After picking up a custom order for processing a whole hog. Order was NOT correct, cuts were not as ordered. Called and informed them of such. Painter's appoligized and I left it at that. That was the fresh cut pork, the remainder of the order was to be smoked.
Simple order " whole hams smoked and 2 sides of smoked bacon in 1 pound packages" easy enough. NOPE ....NOT with Painter's Meat Processing.
Picked order up, BIG Surprise. Cuts were WRONG again, they totally destroyed our hams by cutting them into small thick pieces they call roasts. Called, a little more disturbed this time, but remainded calm and polite, requested to speak with the owner.She was not available. They would have her call me
Owner Becky Painter calls in a timely fashion, proceeds to tell me right off the bat "we would apprecaite it if you got a new butcher next time".... REALLY...No kidding , you think I needed her to tell me that...LOL
Then starts a 10 minute lecture that they have repeat customers that are happy with they way they process there orders and you just cant make some people happy no matter what. LOL...well I have not even yet begun to explain that the order was NOT cut as ordered, let alone request for them to make me happy....sounds like this is NOT the first customer to call and complain !
then proceeds to tell me they make so little money on there service, it isnt hardly worth it. Well...charge more. I am not complaining about the cost. Your profit margine is not my doing, it's yours.
After having to interupt her as politely as possible, I simple stated that the reason I was calling was because this was NOT the first time the order was wrong, the first time I left well enough be after making them aware of the problem.
BUT, a second time was a little too much and that I was shocked that she didnt have any concern for that and was rambleling on about other happy customers, not to mention not even once bother to ask me what was wrong or if there was anything she could do. NOPE just a VERY RUDE and too bad its your word against ours and quite frankly , you probally ordered it wrong. ... WOW...how do you order whole smoked hams and 2 sides of smoked bacon in 1 pound packages wrong...???
Anyway....Buyers and customers BEWARE....Anyone that has so little regard for there customers as displayed by Becky Painter at Painter's Meat Processing in Elkland PA. I highly recommend Staying AWAY from Painter's meat processing and go ELSEWHERE ! Save your self the hassle I have experienced.
on a personal note, a simple I am so sorry your order was not as you wanted, what can we do for you... would have been enough....I would have left it be as it was and probally found someone else to do our processing next time...
TOO bad Painter's meat processing and Becky Painter do not Feel that their customers satisfaction or problems with there orders are important !Dont call, they Don't care.
Happy customers go a long way to a sucessful business...and WORD of MOUTH is eveything.... Good luck with that Painter's meat Processing !
