This company refuses to remove my company name on a post that I placed on their site.  I requested a physical address or P. O. Box so that I could send them documentation and legal papers, they're refusing all of my requests, they're operating illegally without giving location or phone numbers.

This all started from me trying to help other professional contractors and immediately I started getting attacked by an individual that should not even be posting.  When I said something to the moderator about this issue, I got banned.

Their rules state that you cannot attack people...this was broken by this individual.  One other rule was advertising.  The rule states that you cannot advertise products or services unless you are a tradesperson.

The individual in question was a retailer for Benjamin Moore.  He was also claiming to be the owner of a lumber yard, which after further checking, this individual was violating trademark and copyright laws, and when I challenged it, this is what came up on my computer..."you are banned and the date the ban will be lifted - never".

They have planted cookies without my knowledge to see if I am coming back on their site.

Any consumer looking to get ideas of pricing better be prepared to be attacked and belittled.  Their are some individuals associated with this site claiming to be professionals, I would avoid this site like the plague.

Unregistered Trademark

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Saturday, July 11, 2015

This company claims their trademark is registered and the US Patent and Trademark Registry shows that is not the case.  As well as their domain is open to be bought up out from underneath them.

Really?

You are talking about something for which you have no idea.  Evidently ripoff.com did not have a problem with my post.  The Fair Trades Commission is looking into laws being broke and there are laws in multiple states against not having a physical address or a phone number.  So, if you are going to spout off about something that you have no idea about what went down, who is showing their immaturity?

When you have evidence against someone and documentation...thats pretty good standing in a court.

Again, since you are coming into this, you should have gotten your facts straight first!

Next thing at issue, is that I actually saved them from one heck of a lawsuit, by allowing an individual to use trademark and copyrighted material.  Thats why you will notice that there is a new amendment to their rules.

So, I am willing to let this sit up on the very top of any search engine.

I have freedom of speech and nowhere did I break their rules, but they did allow someone else on their site to attack me and I got banned for using their way of communicating for someone that had broke their rules.

Unless you have something relevant to add to this...butt out.

And then....

And then YOU compound this issue by defaming them ONLINE!!! Firstly, ITS THIER SITE!!! if THEY dont want YOU using it then guess what, THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO BAN YOU!!!!!Secondly, what YOU are doing is defamation and this company YOU have WILLINGLY posted about would be WELL within thier rights to sue YOU for the defamation YOU have WILLINGLY posted. Im sure YOU THINK that YOU didnt do anything wrong but obviously you DID!! YOU cannot break thier terms of service and expect to get a pass. It DOES NOT MATTER what another person has done!! YOU are blocked due to YOUR actions and nothing more. Get over it and move on!!! LIFE happens and its a mark of YOUR maturity on how YOU handle it. How YOU are handling it NOW is by placing defaming remarks on a website that is dedicated to ripoffs. YOU HAVE NOT BEEN RIPPED OFF!!!!! So due to YOUR inability to be an adult, YOU have put yourself and your finances at risk. PRAY they dont find YOUR post!!! And dont sit there and think that YOU are safe and anonymous online!!! YOU ARE NOT!!! With JUST a court order THEY can prove YOU wrote that post. YOU can be fined for as long as YOUR POST remains on the top page of a search engine.
