Palisade Collection Agency investigation Fox6 news investigative reporter John Mattes exposes Palisade like others exposed on Rip-off Report that sends out collection notices for alleged nonexistent bills threatening to ruin your credit. Today I received a collection notice from TxCollect, Inc. dba CTI on behalf of their client, PALISADE COLLECTION, LLC. indicating my "account" with ATT WIRELESS was now in collection with their agency.

I have never had an acct. with ATT WIRELESS, nor have I ever heard of PALISADE COLLECTION (operating in Georgia). I called TxCollect to inform them of this fraud, and the rep replied that it was too late, as it has been placed on my credit report. They indicated it was from the mid-to late 90's in an entirely different state from where I live.

I called authorities in Gwinnet Co. GA and they acknowledged they have been getting a number of same complaint of fraud re: PALISADE COLLECTION. ATT WIRELESS was of no help since my acct. never existed. 800-288-9050. Now I have to write letters to all three Credit Reporting Agencies. By violating Section 623 of the FCRA, I would think these companies would cease and desist.
