Palisades Collection - Wolpoff and Abramson - AT&T Wireless ripoff lost in court still reporting to credit agencies Engelwood New Jersey

Several years ago I had cell phone disservice from AT&T Wireless and finally had to switch to Verizon to get useable service. I have disputed a final bill from them, and the isse was dropped for 2+ years. After they are sold I start getting harassing calls from Palisades Collection and their so-called lawyers, Wolpoff & Abramson. I told them all that I'd see them in court before I paid another cent.

They finally filed suit in Massachusetts Small claims court. On the date of trial the Wolpoff & Abramson guy was totally unprepared and asked for a 60 day continuance. The court gave the continuance and marked the case "no more continuances."

On the second trial date Wolpoff & Abramson failed to show up and the court dismissed the case (with prejudice, no right of appeal).

Palisades is still reporting this as a collection account to the credit agencies even though I have filed "investigations" with them.

Palisades is a total scam agency, and I intend to pursue them with the Mass Attorney General's office as well as the Federal Trade Commission.
