In search of cell phone to be purchased from Puerto Rico and delivered to my son hospitalized in NYC, I accessed such a page within the internet. One company-Wirefly-sells these devices for different companies, including T Mobile, the company plan that we selected after listening to a phone presentation. The order was placed(11/28/08), including a Device Protection Agreement. Due to extreme tardiness the order was XLD, but later(12/03/08)we replaced it. The cell phone was delivered 12/05/08. The unit was lost or stolen at the hospital. We called T Mobile directly, explained our situation, were advised of a 14 day window for XL or modification of order, but it had to be with Wirefly. During two days and five or six hours, we held chat sessions(8)with Wirefly-based in India-, and they all ended the same way: soon as they heard our presentation and claiming the Device Agreement, were told we had XLD it. FALSE. But to no avail. Each and every one of the 8 chat sessions was abruptly ended, preceded by a prompt message stating: "Due to technological problems this session will shut down." Same or similar response for all 8 chats during 2 consecutive days=12/09-12/10/08. One can understand that happening once, twice, maybe 3 times, but, when its 8 times, you begin to conclude being in the middle o a fraud or scam. We were stupid enough to send fax copies of our Social Security, Passport and driver license, a pre-requisite of Wirefly to process the order. Being this stupid, I guess we deserve whatever consequences derive therefrom.

Just learned from my son that the cell phone holster was not delivered, although charged for as part of the order, as the Device Protection Agreement that was not honored. We will contact American Express and provide them with evidence, that payment of the order is stopped.
