Received a marketing solicitation phone call back in June 2012 offering two (2) free airline tickets.  Only requirement was to attend a travel session meeting.  So, my husband and I attended a 2+ hr presentation at a local hotel in Naples, FL  back in July 2012 and it was not for FREE.   We had to send $4.95 and then $100 within 90 days to activate our free travel voucher for 2 free airline tickets.

We were informed that after we sent in the $100 we would be notified by mail with our free voucher.  Well, we sent in the $100. money order and nearly 5 months past and we had not received anything from Passport to Travel Company by mail!  We called them and they stated an email was sent to us back in October 2012.   After checking email it had gone to SPAM file and was located.  The voucher had an activation date of October 12, 2012 and we had one year to reserve our flights online.

I proceeded on April 4, 2012 to request our travel dates of June 6, 2013 through June 10, 2013.  The website indicated we would be notified by email within 30-45 days in advance of our trip by an agent.  After I realized I input the wrong date of June 7, 2013, I emailed (with no return) & called and was advised that someone would be sending me an email confirming.  Was also informed that the reservation names needed to be exactly as registered on our driver's licenses which we provided at time of attending the 2+ hr sales meeting.  Even it didn't match exactly with the right person's name a member, it would be rejected.  The website does NOT indicate it needed to have the FULL acct name as on license.  After you input all the requested flight information, it gives you a confirmation it has been submitted.  No email was received confirming my request.  I called 4 times again and they told me the same thing, that I would be notified by an agent 30-45 days in advance.
I then realized I requested the wrong departure date of 6/7/2013 and resubmitted the request on 4/6/2013 (60 days in advance of travel date) with the correct departure date of 6/6/2013.  I tried to call again and explained I put in the wrong date and they stated to resubmit which I did.

I then receive an email advising that my travel request was declined due to the 2nd passenger's date of birth having the year 2013.  I went back in to request again and saw the prior data input entries and it did not have ANY birth year of 2013.  The next email I received on 4/16/2013 indicated that my reservation was declined due to NOT being within 60 days of departure and the travel certificate is now null & void and they offered to refund me $75. of the $100 we had paid and a check would be mailed within 35 days.

This company has GOT to be stopped!  Their business practices are soooo unethical and many people are wasting $ and time trying to get something that they make it a policy of making impossible to accomplish.  They are messing with people's lives and travel arrangements causing MUCH stress.

Please, please let's start a class action suit against "Passport To Travel".  I have had enough of their excuses and not following through with phone calls & email verifications!  THEY MUST BE STOPPED!  If anyone out there has had a similar experience, please share & report!  We must pull together to STOP these people!  Thank you.
