WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

CAVEAT EMPTOR - MULTIPLE VICTIMS OF THIS COMPANY

As is clear from multiple reviews, this company engages in unscrupulous overcharging activity and acts with reckless disregard towards its customers. It quotes one price and then demands multiples of that price at the point of service. I was quoted a $10 call out fee plus $29 for a simple combination change on a Kwickset lock. In the end, payment of $160 was demanded. Because I only had 15 mins to leave my apartment and needed to have it locked, I paid the charge. The locksmith asked me to sign in 5 places to authorize the charges....clearly a bid to "paper up" overcharging on unassuming customers during a stressful time. Some days later, I called the company anonymously and asked for a quote for the exact service I received a....once again, I was told the cost would be $10 plus $29 (and not $160 which was the charge demanded).

CALL THE POLICE and your ATTORNEY if you have been overcharged or abused by this company. But in the first instance DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.....

BEWARE -THIS COMPANY IS UNSAFE and ENGAGES IN OVERCHARGING and other UNSCRUPULOUS BEHAVIOR. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Overcharged

IMDDE / Paul 's locksmith just serviced my home. The service was for a re-key (replace cylinder) of one lock. I thought that was pretty basic service. Website stated $19.00 for minimum service, $15.00 service charge. Pretty basic stuff.

When the locksmith handed me the bill $239.00, I said you must have made a mistake, website stated the above, was was all the other cost?

He stated it was labor. ??? I told him that is shocking and proceeded  to call the main office, they told me the same, it is what it is.. Not much customer service.

I kept telling the technician I just did this to the same door just a few years ago and it cost less than $70.00. The technician reduced the cost by $40.00, but still can't understand how replacing a cylynder cost over $200.00

webite misleading, my bad for not confirming cost when technician arrived.

So this basically is a warning letting others know there are better, honest locksmiths out there and do not recommend this company.
