i ordered a book advertised on ripoff report and used a credit card to pay for it. this order went through paypal. on april 17 i received a call from lower my bills pay pal accuseing me of being late on payments on an account. i didn,t know i had an account with them. this account was useing my ss# and birthdate. i advised the person from pay pal they had the wrong person. this person then began scaming and trying to con imformation from me. i was very confused about what was happening. i denied everything and got off the phone with this person. i tried to collect my thoughts about what happened. next day i called pay pal to resolve the issue and requested that my ss# and birthdate be removed from this account. the people that have this account called paypal and requested they correct the imformation on this account . paypal refused and accused me of family fraud. the person who has the account did nothing wrong . when i ordered the book from cosolidated media employes of paypal took advantage of this order and used it to con scam hurass and threaten me and my family with fraud. in the process they involved a lot of innocent people and shared a lot of personel imformation that should have keep confidential. pay pal also took advantage of consumer media publishing
