PC Diagnostics - AKA "PC-Diag" Shoddy Unreliable Products, No Technical Support, Blame Customers for Poor Performance Pompano Beach Florida
If you are a computer-repair technician or simply someone who enjoys tinkering and fixing your own electronic equipment "please" do not do business with PC Diagnostics, also known as PC-Diag.
I belatedly checked out this company on the Better Business Bureau website and, not surprisingly, found that its rating is "F" and that it has only attempted to address 1 out of 10 customer complaints against it.
My experience with the company involves the purchase of its "Professional Technicians Toolkit" which was an unreliable nighmare from the very beginning. The company offers a "trouble ticket" feature for "technical support" on its website, however, getting any real help is something that has not materialized for me, and I strongly suspect for many others as well. As a matter of fact, my last request was simply ignored.
Both the hardware and software tools included in the toolkit work only intermittantly if at all, which is unacceptable in any professional industry.
The company's response to complaints is to blame the customer - claiming that the accompanying literature was not read or understood. I suppose that some of the badly written instructions, and comments on the website itself, should be enough to make potential customers wary and do some extra checking. But, of course, that sort of thing doesn't always indicate incompetence.
PC-Diag also utilizes P.O. Box address in Johnston, Rhode Island (02919) - so be careful, with your hard-earned money. Computer-repair tools are not cheap!
