pccare ? phone number 1-8558775849 deceptive. somehow got access to my computer and offered "free" evaluation of operating system. offered to fix problems they ''found." exhorbatant prices. high pressure Internet

last december, a company by the name of pccare appeared on my screen. they offered to check all my systems and "found" multiple problems that required well over $100 for one yr. and $400 for 3 yrs. didn't tell me outright to change security to Avast from Norton, but strongly suggested. most of my problems began thereafter. with advice from computer savvy friend, i got GoBack and solved problems that i encountered on the internet. Avast security is impossible to get in touch with. no phone line and no working online help. i went to facebook and found their site that was useless but left a message. they had the gall to email me to go to their facebook site for help. i was initially on google in december, when problems started and feel they are at least part of problem. procare insisted on installing google chrome on my computer. do not like google chrome-- prefer to type in google and not get all the ads.  Reimage is another company that tried similat tactics and actually installed programs on my computer without my permission. these are most likely just 2  of numerous computer "repair" scams.
