Computer Personalities Systems- they took my money NO COMPUTER! Dishonest Rip-offs

On November 16, 2000 I was ordered a Everex 800 mhz computer with software over the phone to the Video Computer Store. The amount was $1,874.00 + 99.00 for 2nd -3rd year warranty. I was told I would recieve my computer within 4-6 weeks. I recieved my MONITER on approx. December 22, 2000.

Called a couple of times in December to see why I had not recieved the rest of my computer. Each time I was on hold for 30-45 mins. before ever talking to a human. By Jan 3rd 2001 I still had not recieved my computer, so I called and complained and got the run around that they had NO IDEA when my computer would be sent. I then told them I wanted to talk to a supervisor and they did not want to send me to one and I kept insisting.

Finally I was sent to JUDY who then said that they were having delays and she also could not tell me any more..but she then proceeded to try to get me to by a diferent computer!!! I told her that I would think about it. I told her that I should of at least got something in the mail saying that there was a delay! So I recieved a card a couple of days later informing me that there was some delays in recieving my computer but they ship them as soon as it is available to THEM!

I then called them back and after being on hold for almost an hour AGAIN! I called and talked to Chris and canceled my order.

From then on I WAITED AND WAITED for my Visa to be refunded! NOTHING!!! Left messages with the supervisor JUDY, no return calls. Every time I called I got the run around...it was to take a month to refund...after a month I called and then I was told ..Well it didn't go to accounting until, then they would give me some bogus date and then I would have to count a month from THAT date.

March 6, 2001 I talked to a Geri and she said that "I should recieve my refund This week that it was in accounting and it has been a month". I waited an nothing...again!

March 11 talked to an Anne and she said that there was NOTHING SHE COULD DO AND SHE COULD NOT TRANSFER ME TO ANY THAT COULD help me. I was VERY upset and asked her what in the world do they expect me to do? I want to talk to supervisor now. She then hung up on me, after being on hold for ever!!! I then left more messages on Judy's machine..but no return calls.

The beginning of March I went on the website that I remembered hearing when I was on hold so long and that is when I found out that they had filed BANKRUPTSY!!! And so here I am!!
