PetAmberAlert.com is a fraud and does nothing to help find your missing pet.  They take your money, don't send out any fliers or calls, and refuse to refund you anything.  Plus just trying to get a hold of someone to talk to about this matter is ridiculous!  They never return calls, they have a "support group" answering calls and will only leave a message for someone to give me a call back of whom they won't give you a name or number to contact directly.  And no one ever calls you back.

So what happened was this:  My cat had been missing for 10 days last September and I signed up for the service that PetAmberAlert.com promises on a Sat evening.  A neighbor calls me on Mon night from one of the many home-made fliers I hung around the neighborhood.  Thankfully I got my cat out of the sewer drain and back to my home.  The next day I called PetAmberAlert.com to cancel the alert and fliers/phone calls they would be making on behalf of my cat.  I left a voice mail to cancel it, canceled it online, and called and had the woman who answered the phone cancel it for me online with me on the phone.  For the 3 days in between when I signed up for the service and canceled it, no fliers or phone calls to my neighbors were ever made.

So why should I have to pay $100 for something they never did, but I do understand that there is no refund of this when you sign up for it.  So no big deal, the important thing is that I got my Max back and he is in good health.  Then I started getting monthly charges of $9.95 on my credit card, for what I don't know because they never did anything for me?!  So I tried for several months to talk to someone there to fix this and refund me the money.

Finally one of the girls recommended that I go online and try the "Live Chat" option.  So I did this and finally got to discuss my issue with someone named Martha, who seemed nice and helpful at first.  She advised she can't refund the $100 initial fee but can refund the 2 monthly $9.95 fees.  I did get one refund of $9.95 back but never got the other one.  When I tried contacting her again through the Live Chat she would ignore me once she found out my name and reason for the chat. She never responded to me ever again.

So long story short, do not ever use this company to help find your lost pet!!  They are very shady and do not do what they promise they will do, but they will sure take your money for doing nothing!!  Ridiculous Rip Off!!
