I am a person who has a business degree but want to really get into real estate and i know it is not an over night success.  But i am tired of these so called real estate programs who said they will do deals with you but it is almost impossible to get these deals even approved because of the BS they have you go through.  For example i have been studying real estate focusing on wholesale for about a year a have a good understanding how this goes so i sign up for peter conti course whereas if you pay them 1000 you can bring them deals and if it meets there standards they will get it from you and pay you will guess what you guys i did my research and got all the requirements 5 sold comps 3 pending 3 active comps which is pretty strict i think for a high mile radius but found a neighboorhood that had those comps so i put an offer on these two subject properties that meet these requirements and you have to make the offer in there name and guess what the agent would not even submit it because they said they could not because if i had to put the offer in their name i needed proper authorization form from them and the only thing i had was a proof of funds letter and a preprinted contract saying i was a independent contractor.  in the end i could not submit a deal in their name using my personal earnest money the agent said that wasn't a good deal to submit so in so many words you really cannot bring them deals.  i am tired of this if you are a legit active investor why do i  have to do this i should only have to bring you the deals and you make an offer on them  because i could not make an offer on them and have it under their name as they wanted it or they would not even look at the deal and why do i have to pay 1000 to do this this bs. 

The other company armando who was on flip this house  about 2004 to 2007 started sending his scammers out and they came to minnesota last year and it was a pyrmaid scheme the first seminar was free and these team of people he had was showing off all the credit cards and wealth they had more than teaching the seminar.  then they wanted to know if we would want to pay 1495 to attend a 3 day seminar and they would do deals with us once we completed the program but the seminar was just this slick fast talking man who was also teaching the program  they had some lady from the donald trump show there bragging on and showing all this real estate she had will this seminar was just a another step to set up all the suckers who went on the next level which i didn't.  it was after the 1495 seminar if you wanted to meet armando and go on this bus funding tour you had to pay 40 thousand dollars and they was telling people how to get 20k with of credit with american express.  i  thought this people were crazy but guess what several people went on when we all came back that last day and paid 40k to do this some old lady i felt sorry for and a older couple took out a second mortgage on their house to do this.  this was a scheme and armando used his A&E tv status to prey on people because he was seen by millions so these people where willing to do whatever to meet him and i always wander do those people ever even by any real estate because i was thinking if i can raise 40k i will use it to  wanting to give back why won't they really give back because i will continue to research these people i will expose them all in a book

Peter Conti Real Estate Programs

I am a student of Peter Conti & Jerry Norton and I can tell you first hand that guys like this will never be successful and and only want to complain about others.  Peter and Jerry are the real deal.  

I have done several deals with Peter & Jerry and they did everything they promised to do.  

The standards to qualify a deal are designed to keep beginners out of trouble.  They are not always easy but they are certainly achievable.  I have had a couple of deals turned down too.  Looking back on it is very clear why they were turned down.  I have also done several very successful deals and have made more in eight short weeks than I did working all year.  It is very clear from this article that the authors agent doesn't have a clue and like many agents give very poor advise.  She/he also does not understanding the signing authorization that is given and makes it clear that they have really not studied the material very well.  Banks have no trouble taking a personal check (Earnest Money) when putting a deal together.

I would highly recommend to the author to dump his/her realtor and to go back through the material.  I personally end up getting most of the deals I go after even when there are multiple offers on the property.  

One of the areas that has helped me tremendously is understanding what a true comp is and why they are important.  The further out you go (beyond 1/2 mile) and only have a handful of comps - the risk drastically increases.  This is done to mirror what an appraiser is likely to do and to avoid a serious problem when it comes time to sell.  This seemingly simple process seems to confuse many investors even experienced ones that then find themselves in big trouble. 

The deals that I have done with Peter & Jerry net several times more profit than the very seasoned investor and provides a huge margin of safety when things go wrong.  Peter and Jerry are offering the opportunity of a life time (especially in this market) for those who are willing to stick at it and not give up.
