Peter Lik is a scammer, liar and a con artist. He offers his con "art photography" for sale in his galleries misrepresenting the value of the pieces.
Each "photograph" is accompanied by a Lik Note that fraudulently diverts attention from the photoshop used to post-produce the image. The show on Weather Channel called "From the Edge with Peter Lik" is used to mislead the public into thinking that you can achieve a gallery grade photograph with a good "eye" and a decent camera. However, without photoshop, it is impossible to achieve "photos" as displayed at Peter Lik galleries. These "photographs" are misrepresentations of nature and have nothing to do with the actual place photographed.
Peter Lik tries to make you think that his "photos" are spontaneous and artistic representations of nature, however they are calculated fraud aimed to swindle as many dollars as possible out of unsuspecting public thinking they are getting in on an investment.
If you consider buying a "photograph" from Peter Lik, think twice. Do not make an emotional decision based on what you see, just think numbers: $5,000, $10,000, $17,500, $35,000, $66,000, $100,000 for a fake "photograph", REALLY?????
