Let me begin by saying if you're looking for a Pet Supplies Drop shipper do your self a favor and save your self a lot of headache and stay away from these guys.

I made 45 orders with them and only 12 out of 45 where actually shipped, they over charge you for the shipping by at least $2.00 a Package and the Do Not have a reliable Customer Service what so ever!! I started To get a lot of calls and emails from my customers asking what the hell happened to the product they ordered it never arrived. 
 
Every time I Call Pet Stores USA they give me a horrible attitude. they never advice you that a product is out of stock it always shows as In Stock and available when you order it on their website , and then you call a month later and inquire about the product you purchased. [continued below]....
..... they will tell you ohh it out if stock a the moment.

They claim that they are the cheapest online: another lie, they will charge you $2.50  fee for every order you make with them. I found 4 Drop shippers to replace them with no fees and at least %20 Cheaper than these Crooks, and a 100% reliable than them.  They honestly should take The "USA" part out of their Name because they are a disgrace  to our great and wonderful Country.

This whole thread is so far off in the weeds it's completely lost its purpose and that's everyone's fault. The original complaint, aptly titled: "Throwing Stones", should have avoided including personal information as well as his opinion regarding the use of USA in the name as neither are relevant or necessary to express his displeasure in interacting with Pet Stores USA. Every post following has been well within the spirit of the first post title. The original poster knew full well he was trying to pick a fight, he got one and to everyone else not in this industry throwing their two cents in: do you seriously have nothing better to do than involve yourself in drama that is not yours? 
 
Mr. Olvey's response was clearly not racist and was simply trying to illustrate he felt this to be a case of business terrorism. I concur, it was probably a clumsy choice of words given the visuals the word terrorism conjures up. However, when you consider we task our Armed Service men and women with dedicating their lives to what the United States stands for it is easy to understand why this was a touchy spot for a Marine who served our fine nation. Was he prejudiced in his assumption the OP has not served our country? Yes. Was he wrong? Probably not. Was he racist? No way.
 
It is unfortunate folks tend to lash out when they are angry yet seem to have no desire to find outlets to express their positive experiences with the same vigor. I would like to offer a contrary perspective as my experience is in sharp contrast to the original complaint. My organization has done business with Pet Stores USA for ten years and has never had anything but a positive experience. Stock status reports are sent out often and they are lengthy. I can certainly understand why someone may not read through or try to implement necessary changes to their product offering but this represents a breakdown in their business practices and should not be a reflection of the distributor. Yes, they do charge drop ship fees and handling fees as anyone would that bears the burden of millions of dollars of inventory and labor expense made available to those without the resources themselves.
 
We all live in a great country where we have the freedom to say whatever we like. Had the OP exercised his freedom to do so in a manner more consistent with what you would expect from a company to company complaint this likely would not have got so personal. Pet Stores USA is a great company, operated by great people. Having done business in the pet industry for nearly two decades (as a manufacturer and a retailer) with every significant pet distributor on 4 continents I would highly recommend this organization!

If you didn't like the service then you have every right to find another supplier and even voice your opinions about the service you received.  However, calling someone or company "Fake, scam, liars" is unfair and uncalled for.  If they gave you bad service, then fine.  But did they scam you out of money?  Did they steal from you or rip you off?  No?  Didn't think so. 

Obviously, you touched a nerve with Mr Olvey with your comment about USA.  That was uncalled for, ignorant and was throwing the first stone.  I for one am grateful for all the men and women who serve our great country every single day proudly and with conviction.  To question Mr Olvey's patriotism and make such an ignorant remark is "a disgrace  to our great and wonderful Country" and the men and women of the USMC who sacrificed much of their time and lives so you have the freedom of speech to complain about a service you did not like. 

I may not agree with some choice words of Mr. Olvey's return barrage, but coming from a USMC who is proud of his country, service and family business his anger is understandable.  I respect a man that will stand up for himself and take the time to respond to a complaint from an unhappy customer.  After all the original poster threw the first stone.

Wow! There's a lot going on here lol. I actually came here to report someone, mistyped my search and BOOM, lol this comes up.

But now that I've taken the time out to read these wonderful comments, I would like to share my opinion as well. Mr. Curt Olvey, you sound more like 15 year old teenager rebelling against authority and being disciplined. You youself mentioned you're 50 years old with children, for the record I"m 35, so in light of your age I'd like to ask you a few questions, which in reality I don't really want you to answer since I probably won't be checking this post as I have a life and other things to do, but I'm sure you will, since this whole ordeal involves you directly.

#1. Which college did you go to, and does it still exist?

I ask you that because surely you seem half way educated, but you definately lack common sense and a golden rule of colleges across America, that being.....wait for it.....YOU CAN'T USE WIKIPEDIA AS A SOURCE. Given that you're 50, and went to school sometime in the 60's and they didn't have the internet back then, its no excuse for blatant disrespect of higher education, of which by the way, I'm part of.

#2. If your heading consists of "Today's Flavor of Terrorism"......hhhmmm lets seeee, what is the reader supposed to get out of that, ouuu ouuu ouuu let me guess, you must have been referring to the Economic Crisis Europe is facing right? No no no, oh wait I GOT IT, you must be referring to the blunder Morgan Stanley and Sachs made with the facebook IPO. No Mr. Olvey, that is not where you were headed, since you're  a "50 Year Old Man" you need to be held accountable for your actions. You're not fooling anyone with that, just the attempt to insinuate that other people are dumb enough not to know what that meant, is blatant disregard to the EDUCATED AMERICANS.

#3. and probably the MOST IMPORTANT Question.....HOW THE H*LL ARE YOU IN BUSINESS? You need to develop a thicker skin than that, you cannot go on a obsessive psychotic rant about some customer who wasn't satisfied with your services, WHO DOES THAT? Like I said you sound more like a disgruntled teenager than a supposed grown mature adult.

I am a New Yorker, I'm Irish, half my family are firemen, and we served our great nation through OUR TOUGHEST OF TIMES 9/11. The word Terrorism that you so loosely used in your abnocsious and DISTASTEFUL post is truly PATHETIC. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TERRORISM IS!!! You're a disgrace as a AMERICAN, you're immature, idiotic, pathetic and simply....A JACKA**!

I am a business man myself, and let me tell you something, you run into unhappy customers daily, hourly even. But if you don't have the gutts to deal with that, go get a job somewhere in Honkey Town. Come to NY one day, and let me show you around, this city is second to none in diversity. I have friends who are White, Black, Asian, Indians, Middle Easterners.

Where the H*LL do you get off talking about terrorism about a POSSIBLE MIDDLE EASTERN CUSTOMER, what are you insane? You racist piece of blank. Degenerates like you have done enough to screw up American image by performing heinous acts. You DO NOT represent most of our great men and women in service.

I hope you get all the negetive publicity as you possibly can for being a complete IMBICILE and a RACIST. You should suffer for your actions, as you're not a small child who doesn't know what's right and what can possibly damage someone else's psyche, all for what? Just because you're an ignorant fool an arrogant OLD MAN (as you claim you're too old to be forceful), and a shameful human being.

Dear Ashley and To Whom It May Concern,

I understand your confusion regarding my rebuttal. Please let me clarify since I do regret this one aspect of my rebuttal and regretted it when I clicked submit- due to the potential for misinterpretation. My rebuttal was not racist but certainly could be construed as prejudicial. Racism implies the belief that one race of human being is superior to another. I don't have this in my heart nor do I believe that I ever stated anything of the sort. Years of serving in foreign lands with different cultures gives you an appreciation for individuals of all races, colors, creeds and nationalities. I do not feel that I am superior to the OP while I do take issue with much of his post.  

What I did do was make a presumption regarding the OP's nationality and/or citizenship and I do apologize for my prejudice. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prejudice

These are very different words with very different meanings. Racism is very ugly; I've observed it all over the world and am appalled by it.  

I do stand behind my sentiment that the OP was wrong in tagging one of my administrative staff, a fine young man who graduated with my oldest son. I have known Brandon for many years and have an appreciation for him. I'm pretty sure that this crosses the line regarding personal details on Ripoff Report. When someone googles his name should this thead show up? No. That's irresponsible by the OP to tie a good kid to his complaint by Brandon's full name.

Lastly the OP's comment regarding being "threatened" is simply ludicrous. I'm a 50 year old business person with 3 kids for Pete's sake, not one to do something just because someone says something distasteful on "teh Interwebz". I do take exception to his comment that our organization is a disgrace to our country. Our company is as much about the American Dream as any- a person serves his country, returns home and creates a business with his family and their friends. A business that conducts itself above-board, pays taxes and supports many families. That's absolutely everything that the USA is about to me and I'm proud to incorporate that both into our name as well as our corporate culture.

Unbelievable

As I was doing some research online about other company, I came across this website and found this post featured on the Newest Ripoff Reports column and I went ahead and read about it.

The person who claims to be the owner of the company called PetStoresUSA, who responded to the initial report made by the customer, in my opinion, has been very offensive, it states on the terms of service of Ripoff Report that the rebuttals should not contain any racist remarks: "Please note that rebuttals should NOT contain any of the following:Profanity, obscenity, threats of violence, racist remarks, false statements, personal information (i.e., social security numbers, credit card numbers, home address(es) or phone numbers), or any other information which violates Ripoff Report's Terms of Service."

As an American, I found the owner's rebuttal very unethical, offensive, and degrading to another culture; someone who claims to have served in the military for many years should know better, we have many different cultures in this country and we can not stereotype somebody just by their name not knowing who they are and make racist comments.

I have never heard of this company before, but after reading this post I have to say I will never want to deal with a company where the person who claims to be the C.E.O. of such can make such offensive and unethical comments about a customer. All companies have unhappy customers but that does not give us the right to mistreat them or offend them, there is no company with 100% satisfied customers but dealing with unhappy customers in this manner will not solve the problem and it will cause future customers not to do business with you.

Dear Mr. Oley,

I'm So Glad that you showed your true nature to everybody here.

Not only you're a scammer, liar and a thief, but you're also racist and very disgusting.  
It seems like when you were too busy learning the foundation of how to make your family business successful you forgot to learn how to respect others and their right of free speech.

I was born in this great country, and I don't appreciate you calling me a terrorist just because I spoke my mind and practiced my free-speech rights.

I was penalized by PayPal  for all the orders that I received and were never processed by your bad company, some of the orders were made about a month before I found out that your company never shipped them. You never updated the status of the orders on the website they always say pending when I called your 8883005139 customer service number they always assured me that the orders were shipped and that you guys just never update the status. 

I found out that the orders were never shipped after receiving complaints form PayPal customers stating that they never received their Packages. I called you guys again to ask for the tracking numbers and that's when you guys told me that these products were out of stock.
(you nor your employees had the decency to call me or sent me an email to say its out of stock, I  found that out about a month later form customers).

I find it hilarious how you still lie and say that you can't find the orders I made when I just logged in to my account on your website and saw my orders still saying "Pending" I attached a photo for you here so you can see some of them.
 
I was scammed by your company and that's why i wrote this report and that's exactly why I don't appreciate seeing my country's name in there!!!!

I truly feel threatened by the comment you wrote above. You have my Driver license info, my address, my Credit Cards and SS Number.

And if anything ever happens to me I'm leaving this message BEHIND for authorities to find you and question you.

I find your diatribe interesting Mr. Yazan Hamoud or Jay Jaloudi. My name is Curt Olvey, President of Pet Stores USA, and I find this rip-off report distasteful on many levels:

First, I spent a decade in the United States Marine Corps. I take offense to someone telling me that my company- the company that was built with the help of an incredible group of Americans- is a disgrace to "our great and wonderful country". All of what I learned in the service of my country is the foundation of what has made this family business successful. My wife is our receptionist, my sons in IT and Operations and my daughters in accounting. So frankly I think that I am more entitled to use "USA" in the name of my company than folks surnamed Hamoud or Jaludi are in telling me that I am not.

Second, I find it distasteful using my employees full name in this report. It was my decision to sever the business relationship between our organizations so I feel it appropriate at some point that you go back and edit Brandon's personal info OUT. Throw me under the bus if you wish but leave my troops out of your Internet bashing.

Third, we have become the most successful company in our line of business by communication. We communicate EVERY DAY our stock positions and it is our customer's responsibility to ensure that they are offering the products that we do have in stock and can ship. When our partners conduct their business sloppily and do not pay attention to what we can fulfill you have a situation like what is implied below. All we can do is provide information in a timely basis and how and what my retail customers choose to do with it is their business. Additionally when a retail partner overlooks inventory positions sends us an order for an item that we do not have in stock we inform them immediately. You received this level of service.

Fourth, I see that you also recently set-up a user account on resellerratings.com giving yourself an amazing 5 stars out of five and my company a poor one star out of five. Isn't there something distasteful in propping yourself in a review site then 8 days later undermining and former partner? http://www.resellerratings.com/user/jjaloudi

Fifth, I reviewed your account activity and while I do not know how many orders you placed, I do see that we shipped 22 orders- almost twice as many as you indicated. 

Lastly, our business models simply were not compatible. That happens occasionally and when it does, you should be an (American) adult and simply part company. If you have found a business partner that you enjoy working with better we are happy that you are happy. To indulge in the creation of Internet user accounts to celebrate your own business while trashing others and to name my employees personally in public forums speaks volumes about your character while reinforcing that my decision to part ways was the correct one.
