We have a water system in our house that we need to be adjusted for the water to be clear. Phelps adjusted the water rate. Several weeks after they had adjusted the water it would be slimy. We called them several times to adjust the water, each time this is a service charge. Phelps told me that is was normal for our area to have slimy water. I finally called another company and they adjusted the water the right way. The new company told me that Phelps put the wrong amount of chemicals in our water system so we would have to have them keep coming back to adjust it. It has been a year now and we have not had any problems the new company also showed us how to balance the chemicals ourself so we would not have to call a water teatment company. Phelps has a big con going for people that don't know why their water is not balancing, they treat the water wrong and get a trip charge.
