Yes, this is a nationwide scam

AUTHOR: FloridaNative - ()

This is a long running nationwide scam. It is a timeshare resale scam. You can go to FTC(dot)gov to look up all the variations of this scam and to see recent lawsuits against various timeshare resellers. Never send money to someone to close a sale. If they have a buyer, then you don't need to send money to the title company before closing. So right there that is a huge red flag. If they ask for money upfront - run away.

I saw the website for the one you posted and it looks like one of many scam websites. Go to WhoIs to find out a little bit of info. These people have hidden their identity well enough that you can't instantly see who they are or where they are located.

I'm sorry you lost your money. File a police report and see if there is anything you can do to recover your funds. Read the fTC(dot)gov site and they might have some solutions for you.
