I too had a similar experience to some of the others who have been ripped off by Manish Shrimal and phpMaestro, LogicSpace. I was also fooled by their positive feedback on freelancer.
We provided a clear brief, which he agreed to build, he then sneakily tried to remove many features in his proposal. When we highlighted the issues he then tried to charge us more, even though he had agreed to meet our brief at an agreed price.
He then kept of adding additonal fees until the point, where we had to swallow our losses. I lost over $1000 to this rip off merchant. Be forewarned. Stay away if you want to avoid being ripped off. There are really good developers with ethical practices in India, however this guy is not one off them!

We never had such problem, as reported, with any of our clients. In this post there is no information about the client name, his project name, project amount, project url or any other detail.
We always keep our clients well informed in writing, over the private message board of freelancer or through the proposal and we always take approval from the client over the proposal, before we start work on any project. If sometimes any functionality addition or removal is considered, we always inform the client about the same and we also explain about it's impact on the budget and timeline of the project.
Also over freelancer, If you paid us there, you can post the review about us there, instead of this website. Also if you find anything unreasonable with our practice, you can also follow the dispute resolution procedure there or you can also request a refund through the freelancer support team. We have't got any dispute request since last few years on Freelancer.com, and freelancer.com takes good care of the interest of employer and service providers, so you must put your issues at right platform.
Still We Would like to request the communication and transaction details which has been processed over freelancer.com as per your post here, so that we can check and resolve the issues, if any.
Our team has completed more than 1000 applications/projects from different clients so far and we believe in fair business practices.
