I visited a Physician's Immediate Care location twice in late 2012. My first impression was that the place was not as clean as i would like. I ignored that detail and waited until i saw the doctor. I won't go into details but I basically received horrible medical care since i wasted money and a trip to a hospital's emergency room when the doctor i saw misdiagnosed me. I haven't been back since for obvious reasons.

In early 2013 I discover that i had a collection account from a collection company that had been hired by Physicians Immediate Care to collect a $134.00 unpaid amount that my insurance didn't pay. I ended up paying Physician's Immediate Care the small amount over the phone with my Discover card. I thought that since it seemed to be a billing mistake that my credit wouldn't suffer and they would do the right thing. I was sadly mistaken it seems.

I recently contacted Physician's Immediate Care's Quality & Compliance Officer on 4/30/2014, and i was told that she would investigate. The investigation was nothing more than them telling me how they sent my patient account to collections, and how the collection agency listed the collection account on my credit report.

I had assumed that they would help me remove the collection account that i shouldn't have on my credit report, but instead i was insulted over the phone when i had asked why they would want to ruin a paying customers credit until 2020. The Quality & Compliance Officer laughed and basically told me that her company didn't care about ruining my credit.

A Complaint was filed with the Better Business Bureau which was "Administratively" closed earlier today on 5/5/2014. The Better Business Bureau determined that Physicians Immediate Care made no effort to resolve the complaint that i had filed. Physicians Immediate Care instead choose to pass the blame onto me for their billing mistakes. It seems that it's my fault that they called someone else's phone number and never mailed a bill to me. I'm glad that the Better Business Bureau has made my complaint public so that everyone can see how this company operates and treats paying customers.

If you want to visit a dirty doctor's clinic, receive horrible medical care, and end up with bad credit then please visit Physician's Immediate Care. I really wish that i would have waited until my normal doctor had an appointment, but now I have bad credit until 2020 as a result of visiting this place.
