I hired Robert Singer of P.I.D Consultants Ltd to locate someone for me (to do a trace), I only had a first name and birthdate/year but Robert advised me that he could 100% guarantee that this person could be found.  I was from another country so I did search out a few different PI companies before deciding to go with him due to his guarantee.

We emailed back and forth, he made me feel comfortable and ensured me that he would find him.. always answering emails, but as soon as we agreed on a price and i did a wire transfer (bank transfer ) of funds.. i heard NOTHING from him. I emailed every couple days, trying to get an update on status of search. No responses to email.

Finally after a week, I had enough of his ignoring me, so I emailed and let him know that i was filing a formal complaint. And lo and beyold I got an email back right away stating that he was "literally about to send off the information to me as he found the person i was looking for" back and forth emails happened all day.. and STILL he would not release the information to me. Then stating that because i had heard from another PI that Robert had scammed others.. Robert would not give me the info on my searched person until i gave the name of the other firm who said they had heard similar stories about PID.

Emails back and forth again with Robert... and STILL no information given even though he CLAIMED to have found my guy... i have asked for my money back.. which then he responded that i short changed him by 12 pounds.. so because i have all the documentation from my bank showing that i transferred the FULL amount we agreed on i am assuming that his bank charged him for the transfer... either way... this man REFUSES to give me any information on my searched person and also refuses to send money back... so what does the 100% guarantee stand for ????? NOTHING.

I then tried calling him.. as soon as he heard it was me he said he was on another line and would call me back... two hours later and he still has not returned my call.. i then tried calling him again and it goes straight to voice mail... i have sent one last email ... asking for the info or to have my money returned and still no response.. so here i am ... warning others so that they are not taken advantage of ...

His website states he deals with empathy, understanding and professionalism... but i have not seen any of that.. sure he has great testimonials on his page.. but who wrote them???

 I got conned too by this guy. Asked him to investigate on a cohabitation issue (ex wife during divorce) and he never done anything that's pocket the money. I asked for conclusion and reports, proofs of work done, and he never responded. I followed up and tried to find him, he doesn't return my calls not makes himself available. I have been conned of £600. Avoid this guy at any oat. This is a fraud

Takes money, Makes out done job, when he hasn't!  When you complain, does nothing, takes money and runs, distances himself from the issue he has caused, which is theft!

 

My advice is stay well clear, but if your reading this, I'm guessing it's too late!  and the problem is, he knows this!!!

 

My advice, look for a local private detective, and not trust someone on the internet!

Superb company to use

I have recently hired this company to assist with helping catch my husband cheating on me and i have to say that the customer service i received was fantastic. Robert Singer was excellent throughout and all of the stress was taken away from me.

I have taken in upon myself to write a positive review as it took me 3 years to make the call to Robert and his team and i want other people who are in my position to know that help is out there.

I have read through some of Lisa's comments and i have to say that i received a 5 star service from Robert and his team so i think people should not take to much notice of Lisa's comments as she sounds like she could not handle the rejection from her ex partner and for some reason is taking it out on Robert.

I hope my review will help others and once again i thank you for your hard work and dedication on my case.

Mr Singer (and I use that term very loosely), you have harassed my fiancé with enough lies don’t you think?  Yes , Robbie, I AM the ” target” as you so call me, that said she was “harassing me” in your words and that I “didn’t want to connect”.

 

You could not be further from the truth in your statement. I did not hear from you, or anyone from your company. No one has called, emailed, searched me out from P.I.D Consultants. I too am I private investigator, and if I ever treated anyone the way you have treated Lisa, I would have taken myself out of the customer service oriented business. We all have different ways of treating our clients, but one thing that should be common practice is RESPECT and HONESTY. That is how 95% of people run a business, and a great business is run on 100% honesty. If I give someone a guarantee, then I follow through and if for some reason I can’t, then yes I give full money back. You did not give her any information about me, because you yourself did not have any (other than what she told you about me so that you could start your search). Not once did you give her ANY proof that you spent any hours looking , and why is that? Because you didn’t even lift your finger, and couldn’t even bother speaking to her when she had called you, instead you hung up (twice). What kind of business is that?

You are in the wrong field if that is how you do business.

 She is very capable of handling things on her own, yes, but it is now time for me to step in because I will not have you insinuating that she needs counselling just because she is telling the truth about your lack of integrity. She has dealt with you (in not only my opinion but co-workers and now the lawyer’s opinion as well)  far too kindly considering what you have put her through.

Unless you are going to finally refund the money, I am now requesting that you do not contact her any further with your lies nor your attempt at blackmail in the emails.

May karma bring you exactly what you deserve- a loss of business, then maybe you will truly see that you can not treat others the way you have and think that it is okay.

So yes, the other P.I’s that have stated they had clients that told them you abused their trust as well, I would have to say that I believe them, over anything further that you might have to say.

Oh Robert... how nice of you to PUBLICLY slander me like this.. you have just given even more reason for me to take this farther....

As for your lies about the "target" not wanting to talk to me, you are so funny. I already told you (no thanks to you by the way) he located ME... and we are back together, and not only are we together.. but we are ENGAGED... so, your attempt at  trying to make yourself look good on here... is NOT working. You can lie all you want, but I do have proof not only of ALL the emails, but the lies that you have told. Not only to myself but to others now. So.. just how far do you want me to take this???

You also know the truth and one day your conscious WILL get the better of you. You should actually live your life and run your business exactly how YOU would like to be treated – with respect and with integrity. Two things you are seriously lacking. You know full well you didn’t even find the “target” in fact my guess is, you have no idea where he has spent the last 5 months since I hired you in Oct because you didn’t even look for him at all. If you had, you wouldn’t have found him in London !!! The exact place you supposedly looked.

Also before you decide to next time write your rebuttal of lies, you might want to have someone else read and/ or write it for you so you at least sound like a businessman that you claim to be.  This sentence here “The target in question told our team that you was harrassing him hence why you was unable to contact him” is such blatant misuse of the English language.

I am NOT upset that the “target” doesn’t want to communicate with me because we communicate daily, I AM upset however at your lies in the emails telling me that you will refund me 100% the money that I have paid to you, and not once have you asked for MY bank details so that you could do so.

If you are so confident in your achievements as a business and how you have only had two bad reviews.. why were you stating in your email to me that I have greatly effected your business by having this report on here? And that I HAD to take this down ?? Another lie? I am guessing so!! If everyone is so darn happy with your business then one or two bad reports should have no bearing on your business.

It really doesn’t matter what you want to lie about now. Truth of the matter is, you guaranteed just last week that you would refund my money (yet again).. in fact I have NUMEROUS emails where you have stated that, and of course not followed through. But hey, don’t worry about that now.. it is so far past that point and your slander today has proved that me contacting a lawyer was the wise move, thank you for verifying that you are not capable of telling the truth.

 May your conscious eat away at you.. because LIES always will take you down the wrong path, and lead you to a dark place.

I can sit here with a clear conscious, and know that everything I have said is 110% truth. Too bad that you can’t.

Hello again Lisa,

The investigation that you paid for was completed and you have been told this several times. The target in question told our team that you was harrassing him hence why you was unable to contact him.

We would never write this on a public forum but we have no choice as that is all you seem to want to do.

Your comments are utter non sense and i have tried to work with you and be fair on this as i understand you are upset that the target does not wish to communicate with you but you are blaming the wrong people.

I can see from your reviews that you are having some issues dealing with this situation and i would recommend some councilling to help you through this difficult time.

We have over 8000 customers and we have only 2 bad reviews which is a incredible achievement for any business and the other bad reviewer was a competitor and not a real customer.

We excel on great customer service and we offer a professional and affordable Service to all of our customers.

Still full of lies and deceipt from Robert Singer and P.I. D Consultants Ltd

While I have read the rebuttal, and while it all sounds good.. if taken just as the words that Robert has meant it to be.. sure, it sounds like he is TRYING to resolve the issue, what he has failed to state.. is that from mid Nov until Feb(when he wrote this) my emails and calls to him went unanswered.

I do have in writing where Robert 100% guaranteed he would find the person I was looking for despite him stating in the rebuttal that they can’t guarantee such things.

He claims that customer satisfaction is extremely important, and while he FINALLY admits that I paid the correct amount (which should never have been an issue as I posted the picture of the bank details right here on Rip Off Report) he also claims that they are not a scam company and that they bend over backwards to ensure happy customers.

I emailed him back after seeing the rebuttal report.. and while his words were there.. that he wanted to “make it right” and that it was important to him to “find a solution to rectify the situation” he has since replied back saying that until I remove the report from here.. he will not refund my money. He says that if I removed it… he would refund me 100%.

First off.. I have told him numerous times (as well as it states on Rip Off Report that reports CANT be removed), that if he was to refund me.. I WILL write an updated report that states that he got a conscious and has done the right thing, but I will NOT write that report.. until the money is back in my account. I am not an idiot … it is now time that HE steps up… I haven’t lied about anything. I have ALL the emails, and am more than happy to share them with anyone who would like to read them.

He AGAIN stated today in an email today that he is waiting for me to remove report.

He has proved time and time again that his words mean NOTHING. And because he knows report can’t be removed.. he is once again hiding behind his lies and dead end promises of a refund.

An UPDATED report would show that IF he has paid me back… 100%,  then i would have no problem writing it.. and it would show others that he could be trusted. He wants the report REMOVED.  So… I guess that is where it sits… he WILL NOT REFUND my money… as RIP OFF REPORT does NOT remove reports.  And even if they did… I would NOT remove it until money was in my account. HE has told me.. the report would have to be removed BEFORE sending money… and I can pretty much guarantee that IF the report was able to be removed.. Robert would once again, not follow through and just pretend that everything was fine.  

I will NOT stop … I will continue my fight. The lies he tells… NEED TO STOP.

Another email from him just stated : “ Why would I refund the money you paid when you wont be removing your report? And then he lied again stating that he found the person I was looking for but “the target didn’t want to speak to me and said I was harassing him?”  I had to laugh at that one, because the “target” found ME… and was MORE than happy to reconnect”

Robert also claimed that  “your report has affected our business already in a huge way meaning we have lost lots of business”

Well Robert, that is EXACTLY why RIP OFF REPORT exists.. to make sure OTHERS are not abused and taken advantage of like you have done with me!!!!!

DO THE RIGHT THING, and I will post an update… for ALL your clients.. future, past and present to read. To show you finally stepped up.. until then… I guess things sit as they are.

Please.. if I can help save ANYONE the heartache and monetary loss from dealing with a man and company that does NOT stand by their word… then at least I know that my losses, have helped someone else. NO ONE should have to go through what I have had to with Robert Singer and P.I. D Consultants.

I have read through your comments on our company and i must firstly begin to apologise for outcome of our working relationship.

It is very difficult to keep every customer happy and with over 8000 customers we are very successful at doing so.

When completing a investigation we can never guarantee the outcome as no one knows what the outcome will be. For example, you may ask us to trace a old friend for you of which we successfully do and your old friend may have passed away, this means you are going to be unhappy with us for the outcome but we cannot be reasonsible for that outcome. 

Customer satisfaction is extremely important to us and i have looked into your case and i can see that you did pay the correct amount however because you paid from over seas the bank took a percentage of the money you page meaning our system did not recognise you had paid the full balance.

We are not a scam company and we are fully committed to each and every one of our customers and we do bend over backwards to ensure our customers are happy as much as humanly possible.

I cannot discuss your case on here due to Data Protection and our commitment to being discreet and professional therefore if you would be happy to email me i will be happy to look at how we can assist further and resolve your complaint.

I apologise for the late response, we have not had any communication from you direct about this complain since therefore i have only just seen this report.

Since I have posted the copy of the bank transfer showing that I have paid IN FULL for a service that Robert Singer and PID Consultants did NOT follow through on,  I have received a threatening email from Robert when I again asked for a FULL REFUND.(which if needed... I will post on here as well)

 
Now first off... reports CAN NOT be taken off here... (and he knows that.. so he was never planning on refunding my money) although I DID tell him that I would clearly state an UPDATED report showing that he refunded my money IF he was to do so... to clear his name. But still nothing. He says I have not been patient... I have been waiting since Oct 21/14... and still nothing.. I have been more than patient enough. Unanswered phone messages to him... ignored emails..
 
I have paid for in FULL (as bank transfer shows I actually paid 316.05 and the agreed upon rate was 300 pounds). I have not lied about that... Robert and his company 100% guaranteed finding the person I asked for trace on. He was NOT found, and they refuse to give money back. I am NOT the first one to complain about the service as I see there is at least one other complaint on here against him. (I wish I had known about this site prior)
 
My story is not bull****, it is PURE FACTS. It bothers me that I was used like this, as funds are not easily available to me, and this was my last hope.
 
So once again, warning to others.. DO NOT TRUST THIS MAN OR HIS COMPANY.  Do more research like I wish I had.. make sure that who you hire, is LEGIT... don't just believe a website, nor testimonials(as those can be written by friends), does the PI you are hiring belong to ABI, WAPI and CII ??? Is he licensed? Bonded? Insured?  Check on this site.. check on all these sites:

STILL A SCAM

Funny that your company STILL states that I have not paid in FULL and yet anyone who wants to inquire, I have NO PROBLEM sending or emailing a faxed copy of EXACTLY the FULL payment showing from my bank to Robert Singer. It shows that the amount sent to him was ACTUALLY 316.05 pounds and was sent on Oct 21, 2014 It is signed by the bank manager, as well as the co-manager as well as stamped by the bank stamp as well as dated. (reference number included) Once I get home I will actually download a copy of that receipt to this so that everyone can see that I have nothing to hide and am telling the full truth.

I have also called a few times... once where Mr Singer stated he would call back and hung up before I could finish giving him my number, another time where i left a voice mail message asking for a call back and stated my number on his machine TWICE. I have also tried calling and it goes straight to voicemail. I have also sent NUMEROUS emails asking him for the information that he found, and he REFUSES to give that to me.

He has not tried calling even once as i do have call display. He also does not return my messages (email or phone) so for him to say that i am not easy to contact, is an outright lie. I do have ALL the emails (from him and from me) I have not been abusive at all... I have asked for my full refund OR the CORRECT information he "supposedly found" on the person i was asking for the trace on... he has refused. I did inform him that i have talked to other PI firms and they too have heard complaints against his company from whar are now their clients. When i informed Mr Singer of that, was when he chose to withold the information he "claims" to have for my trace, threatening that he would not tell me that information until i gave him the business name of whom has heard other claims. That is not only blackmail but bullying. And yet still.. when that information was given, Mr Singer still chose to not give me the information I paid for IN FULL.

He gave me a 100% guarantee and he has not followed through with that.

I have tried to come to a resolution to this with Mr Singer and with him refusing to return calls, or answer emails, I have had no choice but to file these complaints. I will NOT let others be used in the same way that i was just because I am from Canada. This could EASILY be resolved by Mr Singer and PID Consultants returning my money to me as they are not standing behind their 100% guarantee. If he was to do that, then i will let people know that he has followed through with his promise, but since other PI firms have said that there is no way that a trace can be found on the person i am looking for without further information, it shows that Mr Singer was just not able to locate the person involved and because i am from a different country he figures i will sit back quietly and be taken for the money.

Do the RIGHT thing Robert... and I will be happy to stop the file from going further into investigation.

I work for the company this Lisa is accusing of being a scam and i can assure you that what she is saying is rubbish. The customer was paying for a investigation to be done and that it was and has successfully been completed. The customer is based in Canada and was supposed to pay £300 however the customer only paid £288 meaning there is a outstanding balance. When we tried to communicate this with the customer she refused to believe that even though we have proof from our bank statements and then the customer became very abusive and threaterning. It would be great to settle this with the customer as we want all of our customer to be happy however she is being very unreasonable and extremely hard to contact

COPY OF MY BANK TRANSFER TO ROBERT SINGER

Here is a copy of the bank transfer showing that 316.05  pounds was actually transferred to Robert Singer from PID consultants. I have only blacked out the account numbers and addresses of those involved. This was done on Oct 21/14 as you can see it is also signed by two bank managers as well as stamped from the bank. Robert and his company state that i only transferred 288 pounds but this CLEARLY shows that TOTAL FOREIGN AMOUNT is 316.05

So, as you can CLEARLY see... I am not the one who is lying !!!
