DONT USE THIS COMPANY!! Scammers!!

I never write reviews about companies - but I have been so messed around by this company moving company others need to know what they getting themselves into! 

There a few things the salesman John told me on the phone. 

1) 'the price is binding'! Lies!! As soon as they arrived at my flat they started saying I would need to pay extra! At that point I was stranded as did not have enough time to find another moving company. That's what they bank on! That know you have run out of time and you forced to use them even though you now forced to pay more. 

2) 'We are not one of those companies that will start charging you extra when we arrive at your house!' Lies - that's exactly what they did. 

3) 'FULL packing service' what a jock of a statement on their contract. I'm not 100% sure what full means to you? But FULL packing service to me means they will pack all my stuff and packing material is included! They wanted to charge me an additional $580 for packing materials. It was laughable what they wanted to charge me! For example $85 to wrap my TV! They said they made a box for it? Let's me tell you what making a box it to them. Cutting up an existing medium size box and covering the top edges of the TV with some blankets. I've added a picture of what 'making a box' is to this company. Laughable! Then they did the same thing with my mirror - wanted to charge me an additional $35 to wrap the mirror!! Ummm the mirror only cost $19 - why would I pay $35 to get it wrapped up in blankets and a make shift cut up box? There more example of what a joke that FULL packing service is.... But I'll stop at that...

4) 'we use all our own trucks'... When John told me this - I thought great - they a big company I'll only have to deal with them as they were not a broker! Another lie!!! Atlas moving lines moved out stuff into Chicago and another van company took our stuff from New York to pioneer dispatch centre. 

5) 3-7 working day delivery - lies!! Took longer! And they were not helpful about getting my goods here sooner. In their contract they said up to 21 days but that is for much longer distances so that should not apply to us. Again not what the sales guy John said on the phone. If he had said up 21 days - I would have said cheers!!! See ya later!!!

6) The under quoted me on the cubic feet! Everything on the list was what was collected. Not one thing extra! I would understand them needing to charge me extra if I forgot a to add a few things on the delivery list... But there was not! Again that 'binding price' that John went on and on about before I agreed to go with his company - was a big bullshit scammy way of charging me extra - and extra $300!!! Again - where was that binding price you were taking about again? 

7) they were 7 hours late when collecting our goods!! I waited at home for 7 hours on my birthday weekend and had to cancel all my birthday plans that evening as they only arrived at 5.30pm when they were meant to have been there at 10.am. They also only let me know at 2.30pm that they were running late! Laughable! Also the sakes dude gave me his number to call if there were any issues... Did he answer his phone at all that day? Ya surprise surprise he didn't. 

8) Another company delivered our goods! They were hell bent on making me pay for a shuttle service. They first went on about not making it under the bridges in Chicago - I pushed back and surprise surprise they found away. Then they said ah the traffic is to bad we won't be able to back the van into the loading doc. Ahhh it's 8.30am on a Saturday - what traffic? Cars can wait 5 minutes while you back in. They told me some bull about how this one time they had an accident and that's another reason why need to use the shuttle bus... Please from what they were saying it didn't even happen to them- it was another driver and a car tried to squeeze past the truck and it scratched the car. Then I talked the around the traffic issue and said people can wait 5 minutes. They then made a half hearted attempt to turn into the loading zone. Keeping in mind this loading area had 3 other deliveries that same week with the same size van and they backed in just fine! They literally were come up with excuse after excuse on how they could not fit! The driver clearly was not licensed because if he was - he would have been able to back in like all the 100s of delivery drivers before him. Shuttle cost $350 extra!! 

Don't believe a word any sales person from this company says! They should retrain every sales person they have not to lie to their customers!!! 

They were not even the cheapest quote I got but I went with them because they assured me that they would take care of everything and it will be the most hassle free move I've ever made (again more lies). I've moved 12 times in my life and lived on three different continents - this is the WORST moving experience I've ever had.
