Playback Clothing approached Ripoff Report with the intent of wanting to resolve any customer issues and reports posted on Ripoff Report. As a Part of the Corporate Advocacy Program the member business allows Ripoff Report to send an email to all of those who filed a complaint in the past, letting the customer know, the member business wanted to make things right with them, .. whatever it takes to do so. Ripoff Report always monitors these emails to insure the member business does what they agreed to. The people at PLAYBACK did just that. PLAYBACK has gone through great lengths to make sure they try and resolve any and all customer issues. PLAYBACK has joined the Corporate Advocacy Program because they want customers to know they will resolve any and all customer issues. Cheap t-shirts and sweatshirts that were made to be the cheapest in the market...They will do anything to be the cheapest that includes, making product that does not fit to save fabric construction, making t shirts with finishing details that fall apart.. Manufacturers that are making ECO claims that are not true or are very superficial… Such as someone classifying their t-shirt as ECO when in reality it has less than 10 percent of ECO components or has components with no eco validity. “We knew the only way to really prove our environmental credibility was through a detailed Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) study of environmental impact. We researched graduate programs that offered LCA classes, and contacted one of the top five programs: Yale University’s School of Environmental Studies. Happily, two graduate students from the program, Jen Ace and Billy Morgan, volunteered to conduct an independent study on PLAYBACK in the place of a final exam.” Playback Clothing is not a company of ardent environmentalists here to condemn every iota of energy used or plastic fork in existence. It is not a requirement that everyone working for them to wear Birkenstocks, go kayaking, and eat granola.
