Having worked as an MSN tech support representative for a period of time....I have finally decided...to end my silence
about there blatent....disregard for HONESTY and integrity.....towards there customers....they have us advocate the advantages of msn as a nessesary requirement to access the internet....not so ALL the people can and do achieve access to the internet...through there local isp..MSN and MICROSOFT lead the people to believe that MSN is required to access the internet...not so....many people already have internet access through there local service provider....and do not need MSN
on there machines to get on the internet....this practice ...too explain in more detail i'll give an example....of real problems that people have. This type of phone call i would recieve many times a day..CUSTOMER phones me and say's they cannot get on the internet....i would walk them thorough a manual connection via there modem and attain said access...typically they would not be able too get that access......had they not been provided access locally.....ie. modem dials local number...access is then granted....NOW...they already have internet access for around $20.00 typically i've seen radial servers provide access for around $9.95 and at this point they could cruise the net at there leasure, by clicking on the big BLUE E......at this point i am then required too get there msn software up and running as well for another $21.95 a month and lead them to believe they need the msn software working if they want to cruise the net.......even if the person notices and puts 2 and 2 together we are required to find a way to lie....and it doe's
happen many people think I was the one being dishonest...not so as they warned me many times over not to tell the people what the truth is. I continued to enlighten the people i talk to ........which is now why i'm terminating my employment....which is ok...I have other work....which is more honest..I may add that AOL...is practicing the same routine...:-(...Randy...aka...Memtop

I'm Rose DesRochers the Individual Jeff Paris has tried to slander in his Rebuttal to my report on his business ethnics.

Now Jeff Paris has spoken to Ed admin of Rip off report and made it sound though Ed has taken sides in this. I want to state for the record Ed has not read this and does not wish to be involved. Ed only provides this service so customers like yoursef and I may file complaints.

Ed did state that it is normal for a scam reporting site to be under fire by the accused.

However Poetryscams.com is not a Legit scams reporting site.

December 15th 2004 Jeff Paris still has my company listed on his blacklist of sites. He has slanderous and libel content about me on his website stating that I have edited the letters received from him, untrue and can provide full header to any isp provider , editor of staff of rip off report , or lawyer. I have not changed my dynamic ip address as you have to spoof it and I have no knowledge how to Ip spoof.

I have not banned the entire Country of Iceland , My husband shawn banned their ( being Mr. Jeff Paris and his wife's)Isp from entering the website. Because his wife joined my website as a member we were able to get their Dynamic Isp and ban it.

He quotes I broke a link agreement with poetryscams.com and all I did was request my link be removed from his site and I removed his link, as he violated our terms of service. Literacy-escape did not loose any money do to my report and if so I would like to see evidence of this , do you not need to provide proof of that before you can list it. If not it is hear say.

My buisness has lost money and he has slander my reputation as an author.

He black lists us because we have removed accounts from Todays-woman , that is like blacklisting an isp provider because they shut down accounts that violate their terms of service again hear say evidence by my past members who were removed for violating toss.

He requests us to make a formal apology to a community that supports us 100 % that is to funny and further more ,I wonder how one can list a company as a blacklist for removing poetry that violastes our toss and what does what goes on within our company have to deal with an outsider?

He states several emails were received from me that states I have sent mail sense cease was asked to be stopped. I was the one who requested he cease emailing me. My isp provider can validate when I sent my last email to him and I can vouch that my husband Shawn just received an email from Mr.Jeff Paris Sunday Dec 12th .

He reports on his site that he will be making all information available for a court case and that all materials from the future court case will be made public as per the 'Right to Information Act'. If he wants to waste his money to take me to court over this, he will be wasting his money as I have all evidence including his abusive letters to support my statements.

I would not file a report unless I have other wise. To post slanderous on a website and list a business as a scam or even blacklist with no solid evidence to back it is a scam in itself not to mention changing the appearance of your website to resemble the site you are black listing , all things Mr. Paris has done.

Also one should read his journal to see what kind of individual we are talkin about. His blog can be found through zerofunk.com

I felt seeing how Mr. Paris replied to my report with his rebuttal that I had a right to reply to my rebuttal as obviously Mr. Paris has turned this against my site with lies , and slanderous of my character as both an administrator , author and columnist by posting lies about me to back his own mistakes.

How can this be resolved my only suggestion would be is he should of never black listed us in the first place, as anyone who visits poetryscams.com will see that todays-woman.net is not a scam and I have a business number with the Better Business Bureau. I think this all started over one upset webmaster, who was mad that we removed his link from our site for breaking the toss and went on to blow a small situation out of the water and by doing so the truth came out about him as more evidence came up about how dishonest he is.

Each reply he makes here , he is just looking more dishonest.

Jeff Paris has no training & experience as a loss prevention investigator.Legal investigators specialize in cases involving the courts and are normally employed by law firms or lawyers. It is criminal offence to pose as any part of law enforcement agencies. In all cases, private detectives and investigators assist attorneys, businesses, and the public with a variety of legal, financial, and personal problems. Jeff Paris has no background in any of this and even if he were attending school, in that I highly doubt he can not act as such until he has that citification in his hands. They require private investigators to be 18 years of age or older; have a combination of education in police science, criminal law, or justice, and experience equaling 3 years (6,000 hours) of investigative experience; pass an evaluation by the Federal Department of Justice and a criminal history background check; and receive a qualifying score on a 2-hour written examination covering laws and regulations. Jeff Paris is not a private investigator.He is a fraud. He is committing computer crime. Intend to commit a fraudulent act by listing he is a private investigator.
Sec. 1702.101. INVESTIGATIONS COMPANY LICENSE REQUIRED. Unless the person holds a license as an investigations company, a person may not:

(1) act as an investigations company;
(2) offer to perform the services of an investigations company; or
(3) engage in business activity for which a license is required under this chapter.

My only other suggestion the truth will set you free. Three sides to every story my side , his side and the truth and I suggest before any one involves themselves with both business owned by him doing a background check.

My name is Jeff "zerofunk" paris. My wife is the owner of LiteraryEscape.Com and Poetryscams.com. My wife gives me the technical work she wishes to be done on the site, and I do what she asks. I have never claimed ownership of my wife's website. LiteraryEscape.Com offers Yahoo style services. We charge money to help pay for our server costs and programming fees. We also only charge for automated Internet services, and not for the ability to post poetry or what-not. We also use the membership fees to fund contests from time to time in order to give back to the online poetry community. We also have a free membership for the users who simply want the basics, like poetry critiques and community activities.

We run a few sites: poetryscams.com, literaryescpae.com, freeonlineblogs.com, poetrylessons.org, and zerofunk.com. any other sites this person has mentioned is not related to my wife or myself, at this time at least. I am sure we will build more sites soon. Seems this person could not even spell our websites correctly, seems the person did not do much research at all, thus is not seeing a valid outcome or truth.

Sites like LiteraryEscape.Com and PoetryScams.Com help to inform users about poetry related scams and fraud. Such sites, just like RIP-OFFREPORT.COM, are always under attack by the people who have been found to run scams or unethical businesses. Scammers will always try to sue "whistle blowers" and I welcome them to sue, because then the truth will really come out when I get the chance to rebutle as I am doing here, on this fine site.

PoetryScams.Com is my birthchild, so to speak. I started the site, because many of my wife's members would email me instead of her, regarding help they needed because they had been scammed. The report that I am replying to, was written by a webmaster (Rose Desrochers) that has been attacking my wife and I via email. I have tried to communicate in a civilized manner with Rose, and she does not want to discuss the matter privately. Her real issue is only with me, on a personal level and she should keep this against me and not the fine communities that my wife has worked for so long to build. My wife's site does not have fighting, bickering, libelous statements, or spam postings so I think she did a fine job in accomplishing her mission. Just because a website accepts money, does not make it a scam, everyone should know this. Our sites have never made profit. Never. The money goes entirely back into the site.
LiteraryEscape.Com has had a long record of honesty and integrity. Any member of the site will tell you the same thing. If we say that we will do something or offer a service, then that is exactly what we will do. My wife is my partner and her website's members are some of my closest friends.

I recommend all scam reporting websites to join together, whether at RIP-OFFREPORT.COM or at another site. We do community services and we are always going to be attacked in this manner, just for showing truth and evidence regarding scams we have investigated. I thank RIP-OFFREPORT.COM for the ability to rebutle and for giving internet users a medium to post legitimate complaints and scam reports for millions of other users to see.
