I purchased a power washer from this companyto clean an old deck.  The washer was only $65 but I figured it would make it through the job.  I used it one time and when I got it out to use again water sprayed from inside the unit.  I did some looking and found that a small plastic piece called the Water Inlet Assembly had cracked. 

I called customer service to order a replacement part and found that the piece was $18, roughly 1/4 of the price of the whole unit.  I decided to go ahead and get it and when I was ready to confirm the order they had added $15.39 for shipping!  No one could tell me why the shipping was so much so I cancelled the order. 

A few minutes later I received an email confirming the order and I verified that my card had already been authorized.  I called immediately and talked to the floor supervisor who said it was cancelled, which was obviously not true.  He said that if it came to the house I could just refuse it and call back to get a refund.  I told him that was not acceptable, he put me on hold and finally came back and said it was cancelled but had no information to provide me and no confirmation that it was cancelled.  He told me I could call another number if I had other issues. 

Called the number a dozen times and you cannot get a real person to talk to and they will not answer instant messages or emails.

Shady business charging $18 for a plastic part, shadier business charging $15 for shipping of the one ounce part, questionable business practice confirming an order after being told to cancel it, more questionable business practice not being willing or able to provide cancellation information, and overall deplorable customer service. 

I will never purchase or recommend anything they manufacture again, I'll pay more before I buy Power-Washer brand or anything from Faip North America.
