Premium Long Distance registered me without my permission Nationwide

I was informed via e-mail that i had signed up for premium long distance for having clicked on to group lotto. I did not ask for a long distance plan and was'nt aware that i was infact getting one (whether i wanted it or not). i clicked onto their cancellation link and could not get through. this happend to me awhile back with another scammer co. (voice messaging service) and I played heck trying to get that corrected. how is it that you have to be so careful and even when you are, you are still taken advantage of by companies that just love doing these kinds of practices ?
