Our account manager, David at Prestige Financial was very arrogant, rude, and could care less about our problems. they said our loan was no grace period but our contract said otherwise. He blew our phones up telling us when our payment was due and then if it wasn't paid by the due date they were threatening to repo the car one day late we have had this car for two years now and this month did us in. in order to get these people off our backs we filed a chapter13 (feels like a ton of bricks off our chests). i would advise you not to purchase a vehicle through this company unless you like threats and headaches.

We will walk first before we ever purchase a vehicle through these crooks!!!!

I See The Nail Was Hit Directly On The Head!

AUTHOR: Jim - ()

POSTED: Monday, June 30, 2014

I see Robert hit the nail directly on the head and you have ZERO rebuttal!  The "you must work for them" and "I think I know who you are" are very obvious dead giveaways.  We see it here all the time!  I guess you think I work for them too!  You have no case and want to continue to wail and whine!  Grow up!

Well first of all that car loan we filed against along with a couple other debts due to the fact im on leave due to medical problems. We explained everything to them and didnt want to listen or care so we had no choice but to to it this way.We hated to do it but when you have no choice what are you to do? So dont pretend you understand our reasons or assume you know why it was done. Anybody that has been on the side we are on with prestige would agree so unless you work for them and i think we know who you are. Oh and just so you know so you are up to date on things i been out of work for a few  months and what i get doesnt help much with all our other bills we have .

I mean, you weren't anywhere near your phone when it "blew up", were you?  Shrapnel can cause some horrendous and possibly fatal injuries.  "They blew are phones up..."  what an absolutely STUPID statement but consider the source!

You need to get real..

Okay first of all the are a Sub-Prime lender, meaning that going in you already had credit issues, so this is not the first time you had a creditor who could care less about your "problems".

Then they are correct your loan does NOT have a grace period.  What you are talking about is the period of time before they assess a late fee.  But it does not take away the fact that (for example) if your bill is due on the first that it is now late on the second.

Oh and as for this Bankruptcy.  You can try to deny it but you had other debts, as you do not file BK for one delinquent vehicle loan(unless you are a total moron).  Why?  Because the cost to file a BK would probably have covered not only all of your back debt but got you a bit ahead.  Which makes one wonder that why if your other debts were so caring about your problems how come they didn't work with you enough for you to be able to pay on your car loan instead of giving them their money?

In other words...where in any of the loan documents you signed gave you the right to decide on your own when and how much each of your creditors get?  The answer of course is there were no such terms, so again as much as you will probably try to deny it, this one company may be the one getting all of the blame in your mind, but in reality it was because of all of your debts you would have had to file eventually.

I also don't know why you think that they are now off of your back?  This is a secured loan and as such if you still fail to make the now court ordered payments they can still reposess your vehicle.   The only difference is that the court has already made a decision as to what you can afford to pay, so if you fail to make payments you would now have to go in front of the judge to tell them why you didn't pay.

Oh and unlike the creditor if you lie in front of the judge or the judge doesn't think you are being totally up front...they could deny your BK, or in a worst case charge you with a crime that could end you up in prision for several years and 10's of thousands of dollars in fines.  The point is to not to scare you, but to make you realize that if you get your BK approved to treat this as a true 2nd chance...blaming other people and excuse time is over.

You filed bankruptcy to dodge your loan agreement and yet you claim they are crooks. Your attitude is absolutely deplorable.
